DANCE PARTY

Questions for the upcoming season:

1: What sort of statline do you expect from him this season?
2: What sort of role will he play offensively and defensively?
3: Do you expect to see him and Westbrook play together much?
4: What about with Dipo?
5: Should he be on the table in trade talks?
6: How effective do you think he'll be running the point in 3-guard lineups this season?

And any others you care to mention.

I think it's likely he will be on the table during trade talks. Presti is a smart man and smart me leave no stones unturned. That's not to say that it won't take a lot to nab Payne, because it will.

What sort of stat line to expect? I envision Donovan to run some small ball version of Payne/Westbrook/Dipo quite a lot. I think Donovan & Presti definitely want to get a good look at Payne so I say he plays 12-15 minutes a game. I think 8.5 points, 2 Rebs, 3 Asts is a good line for Payne.

He will be the seventh man off the bench in my opinion. We should run Payne at point or 2. Switch him onto the 1 on defense.

He will be super effective running 3 guard line ups. He's an insanely heady player and will find his guys open looks.

Hopefully he gets more consistent minutes this season. In terms of stats I hope he can shoot the three more consistently this year. He started out like a house on fire and then he couldn't buy one it seemed like. Also gotta do more to get to the line. He settled for that floater too much and with mixed results. Felt like later in the season he made a more concerted effort to actually get to the rim which was encouraging.

Defensively I think he'll be a lot better this season. Last year was the typical rookie hazing bull **** that refs always engage in.

Do you mean seventh man or seventh man off the bench = 12th man?

I have a question about his injury. Is this his 3rd broken bone since turning pro? He had a broken finger before his rookie season. He had a Jones fracture surgery July 25 and now has a broken bone in his foot. Is this still the Jones fracture or is this a new injury?

Someone please get this guy a glass of milk. He seems to have the bone structure of The Walking Dead.

Any word on Cameron's progress? I feel like we ought to know something soon.
