As a Project Fi user, I'm more excited for the Pixel phones (Even though Nexus is a way better name).

Is there anyway to watch Wisconsin Fox Sports without dish or cable yet. And for recording OTA programs has anyone tried TVIO Roamio or Channel Master or some over OTA DVR? I would pay to watch Fox Sport Wisconsin alone' but not with 190 other channels considering the price.

Prime is the only thing I can't get to stream well, does anyone else have that problem with chromecast? Possible that Amazon does this on purpose so I buy a firestick?

Stream well? Or stream at all?

I believe Prime is only 720p (or maybe that's the googlecast app you play it through?)
I know this late, but I watch Prime with my smart 4k tv which upgrades it. Stunning and for the most part smooth.

Picked up my 3rd AppleTV. Didn't necessarily need it but once I found out the 4th gen was hackable (3rd wasn't), I figured what the hell. Sound like if I can successfully get Kodi installed, there are plenty of viable live TV plugins, and that includes sports. If I can't install it for whatever reason, it gets returned tomorrow.

Why don't you do something like raspberry pi or one of the thousands of $30 android boxes with kodi built in?

Fully entrenched in the Apple ecosystem. Multiple computers, iOS devices. AirPlay is a must-have for any streaming device. Like the interface and processing power and HD in the latest generation Apple TVs.

Pro Sports, NBA Full Games, a couple other random ones I found mentioned on some tutorial sites. Obviously nothing live is going on at the moment so I'll have to wait and see. Oddly enough, sports are kind of the least of my worries. Between an antenna, the Big 10 app, the ESPN app and Fox Sports Go I'm mostly covered. What I need most is something that will play live CBS, and then anything else is mostly gravy. It'd be cool if I could get all the NFL/college games this fall.

I've noticed the live plugins are pretty spotty. Sometimes I'll get HD quality streams and next time it's compressed to hell. Please let us know how it works out for you.

The antenna doesn't cover your CBS? It covers mine just fine.

Side note, FoxSportsGO FINALLY added chromecast support to it's app. So much easier than screen mirroring.

Yea, CBS isn't available over the air up here. Not the worst thing in the world. Just another excuse to go to one of our many fine drinking establishments when the Packers host an AFC team.

I'll be observing 7th grade girls VB tourneys for the next 8 Sundays, the majority of which are during Packer games so I need a way to watch the games on my phone/tablet. I think Kodi will probably be the only way as long as they have a good WIFI connection.

Didn't realize Playstation Vue was available on other devices like the Roku3. Might have to give 7-day free trial a shot. For $10/month more than Sling, it gives you all of the ESPNs and BTN... Hmph... Anyone know if you can "DVR for 28-days" things on ESPN, FSW or BTN?

I have Vue and I think you can DVR anything you want. I'm not totally sure of the capacity or storage time, but I just select some shows I want to have on demand and Vue records them as they air. The other fantastic thing about Vue is that you can watch it on up to 5 devices at once. That was a big downfall for Sling (as well as lack of sports channels like B1G) when I was using it. I've said it before, but the only thing Vue needs to improve, in my opinion, is their program/channel guide. It's about as bad as it gets right now, but you do get used to it after a while.

I'm gonna play around with this Kodi-enabled AppleTV for another week or so, but I'm starting to think I may be able to cancel my Netflix and Hulu, much to the dismay of everyone currently using my passwords.

Do you get Brewers/Bucks games on your Vue?
