the superbowl rematch in week one. denver is starting a QB i have never heard of, lets start off 1-0.

Fiiiiiiiiinally game day! I have to watch this game on a delay because of other obligations, but I couldn't be more stoked to finally be able to watch some real, regular season, NFL football. I don't think I'll be leaving my house this weekend.

This game is a tough one to predict. I think it will end up being close. I'll go 17-16 home team.

Carolina has a lot more continuity on their team (even with the departure of Norman) than Denver does so this should be the Panthers game to lose.

I would have figured with Denver's QB situation, loss of some guys on defense and revenge being a factor, that the vote would be slanted heavily in Carolina's favor.

I took Denver, getting points at home after that Super Bowl? I don't have much reason to believe Carolina will suddenly be able to escape the pressure of the Broncos defense. I hope they do though, even if it makes me miss that pick, because I'd rather see Denver lose, being a division rival.

Ideally Carolina wins by 2 or less so I win my pigskin pick and Denver loses. I was a little surprised that the masses took Carolina on the road giving up points after that Super Bowl. It's not like Manning played a big part in the win. Unless that Denver QB looks like a deer in the headlights being on national tv against a tough D with Kuechly looking straight at him.

Sieman looked good so far...most of the Broncos did except for that chump who came in and fumbled. I didn't mind it though.
