Questions for the upcoming season:

1: What sort of statline do you expect from him this season?
2: What sort of role will he play offensively and defensively?
3: How much do you think he plays at the 4?
4: Will he start? SHOULD he start?
5: His contract is up in 2016, same as several of our young guys. Do you think he's with the team next year?
6: Can he improve enough to cement a 3&D role?

And any others you care to mention.[/quote]

I'll say he plays no time at the four position. He will start and he should. We need his boost defensively now that our interior defense is that much weaker with no Serge.

24 mpg
7.2 ppg
4.2 rpg
1.1 apg

I don't think he'll play anytime at the 4 and i like him in the starting lineup.
He strikes me as a loyal kinda guy who will want too stick around for a decent price, so yes i think he will be here next year.

Probably my 3rd favorite player, I think his shot keeps improving, though never to an average level, but he brings a ton on the defensive end and is just a fantastic energy guy and team defender. Keep him and keep him starting.

Roberson definitely needs to stay in the starting line up, whether that is at the 2 or 3. Most likely, Oladipo starts at the 2, pushing Roberson to the 3.

I think we will see Roberson some at the 4 in some small ball line ups that Donovan will throw out there. Think Payne, Westbrook, Oladipo, Roberson, Adams (or Kanter for hyper-offensive lineups).

Depending on how well Roberson continues to develop his offensive game (primarily his 3), I think we should leave him on the table for trade talks though we would need to get some pretty awesome defensive return because Roberson means that much to our defense plus I think we can keep him on a sensible contract. He has to thank Presti for giving him such a great opportunity.

I think 8/7/2.5 is a realistic stat line as he will have more opportunities at rebounds with Ibaka gone and moving to the 3. Also, he will be playing more minutes and will be playing with shooters to pass to.

Defensively, he will stay in the same role with him guarding more 3s and switching on to 4s this season and in some cases the 2 if Oladipo matches up decently with some teams smaller 3s.

He's consistently improved his play year after year, so I don't think anything changes. I think he gets a little bit more efficient with his 3s but less spacing with Durant gone hurts him.

Bottom line is, we likely won't get anything good enough in return for us to move him as he cements a great 3&D role at the 3 and as an off-ball player that's all we need when he is surrounded by so much offensive talent.

Guard / guard pick n roll has been mentioned as a new strategy. Could be good for Robes.
