BDL's Ranking Rosters: Measuring depth in the Southeast Division

Don't shoot the messenger. But it's the dead zone of the offseason.

lol, so Bradley Beal and Hassan Whiteside are stars, but Vucevic who has equaled if not outperformed them for 2 years is a "supporting actor"

horrible analysis on a lot of the players. I would say that Korver and Splitter not starters anymore,

We don't have "stars", which is true.

Justice Winslow remains crazy overrated.

I'm dubious about this team, but the rest of those analyses were pretty trash if we're being honest. Surprised that guy writes for Yahoo.

There is a reason why they play the games.

If the youth progresses, things could really be shaken up.

Ill news is an ill guest.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Whiteside is all hype because of his blocks and he plays for the Heat. Matter of fact I'm pretty sure Nik owned him at least twice last season. Now that Wade and likely Bosh are gone everyone will see how overrated he is. Block chaser.

I full expect both the Magic and the Baby-wolves to far exceed media expectations. Both teams now have a full, complimentary roster.

I am right there with you! Can't wait to see these two teams play this season... not only against one another but just in general.

Definitely going to play major roles in their respective conferences in the near future!

The Wolves are going to be the next super team.

The difference in their rebuild from The Magic's is better draft position.

They got a better return for their star than we did. They also managed to get incredible fits through the draft too, while picking BPA. That's going to be a scary team.

Kriss Dunn is so good too. They just keep getting amazing picks. It kills me, really.

But this mistake in this article is saying Serge Ibaka is the lead. That is just lazy, horrible analysis when Vogel has been quoted multiple times stating that Aaron Gordon will be his Paul George. If you don't like Aaron Gordon's chances at being a star player, that is one thing, but to assume that the Magic are actually building a team that is based around on making Ibaka a star - well that's just plain ignorance.

Not that I'm skeptical on the wolves per say as I believe Dunn/KAT will be stars in this league, but I'm not totally sold on Wiggins and feel as he would be traded for an established veteran in the near future and don't get me started with Lavine (the next Wesley Johnson).

Lebron becoming GM of the Cavs helped the Wolves a ton. Also great timing with their sucking and geting the ping pong balls to fall right at the right years.

The only thing that can save us is a panic mid-season trade for Willie Green.

Return to Orlando Magic
