***The Thad Young Thread***

nets dont get good free agents, we usually get the leftover garbage.

we dont know what we will or wont get in free agency. we do know what we have in thad young, and we know thad young, while a nice player to have on your team, isnt the type of guy who has a big impact on wins and losses. he wasnt able to help us from being terrible(no fault of his own).

so im of the opinion, why not see if you can do better, because we really cant do worse. if anything, id prefer having the SG/SF version of thad young. even if just turn that money into another mediocure hard working role guy(jae crowder type?) at a position where we are super thing.

it doesnt need to be 2 superstar FA's for it to make sense to move thad. especially if you can get a pick. it isnt tough to replace what thad brings

it doesnt really effect us much getting 75 cents on the dollar for him because he doesnt help us much keeping him. you dont want to give him away but the cap space alone is alot of value

he tried with crabbe and johnson but restricted free agency is hard. im not sure who he could have gotten that would replace bojan or rondae as a starter. no solid wing would have came to nets. he just brougt in mostly backup wing guys trying to become a starter or hope they pan out.
