Westbrook would be a perfect pre-game dance partner if he ends up getting traded to Boston.

Those articles are relevant for every team. The league's stars don't revolve around the Celtics. Those players could be targets for the Lakers, Sixers, Nuggets, etc, just as much as they could be for the Celtics or any team with enough assets. I'm glad you are reading and commenting.

Anyone know about this rumor?
Brown, Johnson, Rozier, Jerebko out
Love in

It's like a game of telephone as it moves from one non-credible site to the other.... but I love this line from Yibida.
The site Sportsrageous, whose writers have suggested some preposterous trades before has the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers involved in a three-way trade.
So they are saying our source has no credibility but why the hell not. Sports journalism at it's best.

That is not to say that rumor started on sportsrageous (just as it didnt on the inquisitr or yibada. It's from a site called "The Sixth Sense" where someone is spitballing a trade idea.

We could have used Stiemsma on a Camp deal. Hell, we can use just about any Big for Camp.

Well, if he's a Boston Insider then consider most I've heard about Griffin's impending free agency is he
really wants to re-sign with the Clippers, haven't seen ANY stars hit the trade block (yet ?)...seem his track record isn't doing anything for his credibility that I can see.

Some site called sportsrageous put a story out this morning about Cousins for Brown and both Nets picks. No real sources, though.

I actually think we are solid as far as our bigs go. Amir and Horford can both play the 4 and the 5. Zeller can possibility have a bigger role like he did two seasons ago. Jonas was very solid in the playoffs. KO and Mickey round out the bigs with Bentil having a chance to make the team still.
I also feel like we will play a lot of small ball when Brown is ready for big minutes. I think we can see of lot of Brown at the 4 or Crowder at the 4 when we go small.
That being said, I would still like Okafor or Monroe to give us that inside scoring.

Another Big, just for Camp, would round things out.
Olynyk, by all rights, may not be ready until the Start of the Regular Season.
The other guys can fill in; but still, I'd like to see one more big body down there, mixing it up for Camp.
I'm with you, on the Okafor Train. He's young, and plays with his back to the rim.

There's something going on here.
Normally I make a point of not clicking on any of these clickbait sites, but, I got caught by a few, began to have a hunch, and started to read them whenever I see them just to check on it...
All these sites with these crazy, unsourced rumors, that reference only each other - sportsrageous, yibada, gospel herald, parent herald, etc. - I believe that the "content" is being autonomously generated. Some sort of advanced bot that trolls the net for rumors and keywords, then throws together crappy articles with clickbait headlines. If you bother to actually read them, they're all written in the same sot of really awkward, simplistic way, with grammatically correct but extremely unnatural English, and a laughably naive understanding of the topic they're purporting to cover.
I haven't bothered to actually spend that much time on this, so I haven't verified how long these sites have been around, but I wouldn't be surprised if even the sites themselves are being autonomously created.
Either it's a new trend coming from multiple sources, or it's one group that has created / is utilizing multiple sites to reference and reinforce each other.
(The alternative obviously is that there's just a rash of intellectually dishonest content producers writing at a 2nd grade level out there right now. Which, I guess, is not exactly an implausible premise either...)

Oh, see, here's a fun one. Get ready for this, it's a trip.

And so it goes full circle (or, out and back, in this case). A family of sites idly speculating, then citing each other, using weasel words and ambiguous speech a la "reports indicate" and "it's likely that", just counting on the fact that almost no one will actually follow the citation chain all the way to realize that there's absolutely nothing there whatsoever.
I do not believe that this is coincidental/innocent. The same half dozen or so sites every day, referencing each other in chains and circles. This truly seems like a group deliberately attempting to manipulate search results, generate traffic out of non-content.
It's amazing that it seems to be working, as many of us seem to be seeing these sites showing up over and over lately.

Kit Isaiah Bernal of Yibada wrote:Ernest Shephard of the Inquisitr believes Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Khris Middleton remains a possibility for the Celtics, who have attempted to trade for the 25-year-old before this year's draft night.
Referencing idle speculation from the bottom of the following article, which also contains:
Ernest Shepard of the Inquisitr wrote:The Morning Ledger is reporting that the Celtics and Bucks may have had discussions about a five-player swap. According to this NBA rumor, the Celtics would agree to send Amir Johnson, Jonas Jerebko, and Marcus Smart to the Bucks. To complete their end of the deal, the Bucks would ship out Greg Monroe and Jabari Parker.
Citing as a source:
Jan Erica Francisco of The Morning Ledger wrote:Rumors about the NBA trade now focus on Milwaukee Bucks wanting to trade Greg Monroe. Monroe has been on Milwaukee’s trading block lately but they haven’t found a trading partner yet. But the Boston Celtics seems to have taken notice of Milwaukee’s trade offer.
...
The Milwaukee Bucks allegedly have decided to be creative with their trade and decided to also trade in another quality player along with Monroe. The rumored player is Jabari Parker.
Citing as a source:
Adrian Lawhorn of the Inquisitr wrote:According to Yibada, the Boston Celtics may now have Greg Monroe on their radar. Reports indicate that Boston and Milwaukee may be discussing a trade that would send Monroe and third-year forward Jabari Parker to the Celtics. In return, the Bucks would receive power forward Amir Johnson, guard Marcus Smart, and forward Jonas Jerebko.
Citing as a source the idle speculation contained in:
Malcom Hyde of Yibada wrote:Perhaps one way for the Bucks to finally trade Monroe is to add a sweetener to the deal. Jabari Parker is a player that many teams covet. He has shown his scoring prowess yet still has potential to get better. While the Bucks place a lot of value on him, he is not at all untouchable.
...
A trade sending Monroe and Parker could elicit a package of Amir Johnson, Marcus Smart and Jonas Jerebko. It helps alleviate the positional logjams of both teams at least on paper.
These two teams are willing traders, and it's likely that they have had discussions between them.

You skipped right through the conspiracy theory and straight to "Parker!? Sign me up!"
So did I.
But SMT's theory has some merit. I wouldn't put it past some of these sites to fabricate stories to generate income from ads. The idea that the stories could be auto-generated makes it all the more... deplorable.
