Younger, hungrier, and ready to block

Are you in? Who's pumped and jacked?!
Injury update:

Seahawks-
Ifedi (RG) out for 3 weeks with a high ankle sprain.

Porpoises without a purpose

Danny's .02:
1. New D Line sans Mebane
Clark, McDaniel, Reed, Rubin, Hill, Avril, Bennet... sounds good to me, but those big boys need to be stout and Clark needs to find equal parts nasty in the trenches and pass rush to blossom into a guy that might inherit Mike "pay me" Bennett's torch.
2. Running backs a plenty
Rawls and the remade Michael look like a hell of a unit. Prosise has a lot to prove as a third down back who didn't show me a lot in preseason. As far as a fullback though? Oddly light in the blocking back spot for a Seahawks team.
3. Oh Snap!
I don't want to hear Frese's name at all... And the 'Hawks grabbed Tyler Ott a few days ago. I really wish we could just bring back Gresham and we saved dough by cutting a few vets in the final round of layoffs, so this better not be a story line this week or at all this year dag nabbit.
4. I want to see Boykins!
... never play. I like him, but let's hope we don't see Russ take any bad ones this year and Boykins remains a talented unknown understudy.
5. Legion of Who
I like Lane and Shead as the nickel and off corner backs. I don't know that I like our depth here and neither did the seahawks according to their last second trades, but I think the usuals are going to define a lot for the defense this year in a passing league. We need a year where we're looking at 3 pro bowl boomers again and someone who won't become a sucker who gets the bullseye.
