What do you think?

Chargers and it's not even close, beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead would've been a great way to start a season, but alas, they gave up a big lead. Keenan Allen makes the loss much worse as well.

Easily the Chargers. Losing Allen again, after he looked so good to start the year? That team has had a rough go of late. Nothing seems to ever go quite right. They actually do a pretty good job drafting and such... they always just seem to draw the short straw.

When you review each team's schedule, etc., looking forward, it has to be the Jets. Not sure if I have ever seen a tougher schedule to start the season. When you look at their schedule, the Bengals was pretty much a must win with what they have coming up.

I voted for the Jets because I think they are good enough to get in the playoff hunt, but not good enough to where they can afford to lose a close game like that. Also, the loss to Cincinnati could have tie breaker implications between the two teams. Arizona, for instance, will be fine. San Diego isn't quite good enough that it will matter in my opinion. No loss in week one is excruciating until it's week 15, 16 or 17 and you're jockeying for position in the postseason or being sent home to watch it on TV.

saints and cowboys lost in dumbest fashion. saints had the penalty after stopping raiders on 4th down and cowboys being cowboys. losing to the division rival is worse so gotta go with cowboys here.

I say Jets.

As someone mentioned before, Jets are good enough to make the playoffs and this was one of the games they needed.

Doesn't have to be a blow out to be excruciating.

It's more excruciating to be told you suck.
worse when you are blown out.
No one looks that bad when you only lose with a few seconds on clock as opposed to being a,waste of space if the game is decided in the 3rd Qtr.

I think its more excruciating when you almost totally dominate the first half in every category possibly known to man kind, your suckie defense falls to sleep on one drive and you only go in at half time 9 - 7. Then as usual our wonderful puppet head coach shows why he doesn't belong on the Captain Kirk seat in Big - D. As usual bad half time adjustments. Can only get one of the best receivers in the NFL only one catch for 8 yards. I could almost forgive the damn idiot if he would have stayed with what worked in the 3ird period with Morris. BUT MORRIS NEVER SAW THE FU..... FIELD AGAIN after period 3. I think you suck just as bad as someone who gets blown out every once in a while when it happens at least once or twice every 5 games. And its not just this year. And most games are not won or lost at the very end. Sometimes a team can lose a game in the first quarter or first half despite the score and situation. I think when you lose or give away a game you suck anyway, regardless of the score.

I looked at that a while back. I think the Jets are really good, but the schedule is so brutal they will have a tough time getting enough wins for the playoffs.

Blowing a big lead (Chargers) or not running out of bounds (Williams) or messing up the snap for a winning FG (Cards) are far more brutal to me than having a game decided early. Sometimes it's just not your day, but to play really well for a majority of the game, or at least close, and then have it decided in the final moments to end up as a loss, sucks for me far worse than losing badly.

I voted Panthers...because...well, personal bias mostly. Probably in reality not nearly as bad as SD choking a massive lead against a division opponent on the road, or as bad as the Jets being the Jets. But it stung.
