Hopefully AG doesn't party too hard tomorrow on his 21st birthday.

The guy doesn't have the best perimeter skills, but he rebounds and plays defense in the paint well enough to play 4, but hes also much quicker than most fours.

I think Gordon is a 3-4 and George is more of a 2-3.

Surprisingly they had nearly identical ppg and shooting percentages at the same age.

George was significantly better from the free throw line, which made his second-year spike in 3-point percentage predictable. I don't think the Gordon/George comparisons are meaningful, as Gordon will likely never become the shooter that George is. I still think Blake Griffin is the best comp for Gordon.

In fact, I'd be even less confident considering the moves and PR from the front office. I'm as high as just about anyone here on Gordon, but I'm being realistic that there is a chance that his time at SF doesn't work and they decide to go with a different unit and start Green. This is less my disbelief in Gordon and more my caution to the organization and a new coach I don't really know.

Vogel has stated that he plans to start AG at the 3, but he also planned to start him at the 4 before they signed Ibaka. So things change. We'll see soon. Excited!

Although I'm not a fan of Green's game, I rather he's used off the bench. The Magic run the risk of disrupting Gordon's development and confidence if he not given the keys to run the floor with the starters this year. We know what he's capable of as a PF. The Magic would be wise to start him at the position.

Green starting isn't going to impede Gordon's development. I've never understood how people correlate the two. If Gordon is a future all star then he'll turn into an All Star regardless of what Jeff Green's role is here in one season. I want the Magic to play the players that are going to win us games. My instinct tells me Gordon will have a huge impact but I wouldn't be surprised if Green earns the start and I'd have zero problems with it if its deserved. I'm glad that they brought people in that are going to challenge our young guys for playing time. Nik, Elf, Gordon all of those guys have been handed roles its about damn time they earn their minutes. I trust the coaching staff is going to make the right decision. I don't care who starts or finishes, I just want us to win more games.
