Nope, waived.

Just get your life together Mitch. You've got a future ahead of you, just be well.

Honestly I don't even wanna root for the guy. If he's on the roster I'll be disappointed
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I get that too. I want him gone, and think he's a knucklehead. I just don't want his life totally ruined either (though I don't think you do either, just not on the team). I don't see a reason he's on the roster myself.

I'm not all that concerned with his life. As long as it's just weed he's smoking and it isn't indicative of deeper problems then he's already made enough money to live comfortably. Of course it could be a deeper problem, but with the rest of his personality I'm fine just assuming he's kinda dumb.

I think he ends up getting waived based on what Smitty told us at Summer League and then the info in Woj's piece on the additional extension. Sounds like the Front Office just wants him gone.

I doubt he has much of his money left at this point and whatever payment he's owed for this coming season, after the money from the suspension, taxes and his agent's percentage are deducted for this season sure aren't enough to live comfortably. Not saying I'm sympathetic to him or anything, just pointing it out. By in large I generally don't feel bad for pro athletes. This guy has already gotten so much more from the game of basketball than the vast vast majority of people ever will. Even if he never plays another game anywhere in the world professionally he should be satisfied.

And for pete's sake, either get off the drugs or get into a profession where they don't test.
