Can we set a cut date for those missing?

It's good to plan a bit ahead with draft order known. If we are planning on starting draft on Oct 1st, it would be good to have, say, a week to plan your draft strategy (meaning we'd have draft order set by Sept 24th).

So maybe define who is in be Sept 20th?

Well I don't want people to miss because they didn't log in during a dead time of the offseason. If I see they have logged in and not responded, yes.

I get what you are saying, but dragging the whole process and therefore penalizing those who are here is also not fair.

Best is to wait as much as we can without damaging draft preparations for those who are here.

Maybe we can set draft order with blank spaces (MIA Player A, MIA Player B and so on) and fill them with whoever shows up when draft time is up. That would allow the rest to run some simulations knowing at least where they'll be picking .

Perhaps we can do that. We start this earlier ever year. It's still extremely early. I used to not do fantasy basketball drafts until Oct 25th or so to have a better idea of things. So the first time we did this I thought it was far too early.

But it does bring some fun and excitement to the forums in an otherwise dead time when barely anyone seems to post.

Yeah, the later the better with with draft as it means any preseason injuries aren't a factor. But I'm always keen to jump out of the gates.

Since dmastro, plonden and Phystic finished 5,6 & 7th anyway and were not originally supposed to move up, if they don't show up, we can just put NTB and whoever is next in line in it to fill it up. Then I can work on filling up the CBA.

Can we start talking smokescree...I mean, draft preferences?

Durant and Curry are 1st and 2nd in most ranks. I feel uncomfortable projecting their past numbers into next season, as there isn´t that many more touches GSW can add per game. While I think Westbrook will have huge increase in useage and will be a even biger stat filler. Wouldn´t like to draft 1st or 2nd this year.

i'm in 2 leagues already but i'm a little disappointed we didn't do fantasy football this year.

We did. I posted here and only had one reply so I took it to the NFL General board, and quickly two more posters from here joined, so there are 4 posters from here in that league. I wish you would have seen it and jumped in.

You can still start them. I would if there were enough people and do another one. I don't think we could find enough people willing to jump in by this Sunday though. I doubt they start them too much longer.

Ya I usually don't check the Suns forums much during the Summers and totally forgot about fantasy leagues. Didn't see the thread until this morning and noticed my name was taken off haha.
