This picture was taken from the Rice/Baylor football game. This image is from the opposite side, but facing the Baylor fans it is a big IX, in reference to all of the TItle IX lawsuits going on at Baylor right now. The band also did a star formation with reference to former Baylor President, Ken Starr.

I'm reading some angry Baylor fans comments today!

I'm sorry, I think this is hilarious! I love smack talk, so I'm all for it. If a band of all groups can get fans all riled up, huge props to them.

I think that it is fantastic, and Rice's band is known for this type of thing. Still, the whining from some Baylor fans actually prompted Rice to issue a sort-of apology.

Reminds me of the Kansas St band controversy last year. It was supposed to be a star trek spaceship or something fighting a Jayhawk (when they played Kansas) but some Kansas fans thought it looked like something else...take a look if you haven't seen.

The time they formed a fire hydrant while playing "How Much Is That Doggie In The Window" against Texas A&M is my all time favorite.

LMAO, I remember this whole controversy last year. I thought this one was pretty hilarious as well, I'll never get why some people get so worked up and offended over a little bit of smack from another team. That's when you've just got to dish it back.

Just tuned in, looks like BYU's got an uphill battle ahead of them. On the bright side though, the stadium looks/sounds good. This would be a fun year to have season tickets with so many high powered teams coming to town.

Good to see Moroni Pututau out there killing it for them! I went to high school with him, he's one of the nicest, most genuine guys you could ever meet. Very solid kid.

Yep, I'm a young one, still in college right now. I'm a couple years older than Moroni, but still got to know him a bit.

Youngin's lol. I got you both (not by that much, just turned 30). Went to the same HS as Stephen Wisnewski (can't spell that) but a few years off.

Crazy high scores today, glad FSU got whooped.

I'm not sure what was worse, the terrible refereeing that screwed both teams, or Verne and Gary kissing up to Alabama the whole game.
