Another Aussie, fan since the Bad Boys days, looking for someone to shout an airfare. One of these days I will see the Pistons live.

You've been a member since 2003 with 151 posts? Were you tied up in a basement or something?

Josef Fritzl let me out eventually, it taught me how to lurk.

I'm not sure how some of you guys in other states or even countries do meet up for these. I just live in Grand Rapids and I feel like I live in another world. I'd love to, but finding the time isn't exactly easy. Probably sounds ridiculous to some.

I've found that an airplane flight works pretty well.

Let's rent out one of those upper level suites at the palace... Seems like a good place to socialize and watch the game. I guess a bar works too if people want to save money...just don't pick a night when the Wings play...bars will show Wings over Pistons.

The top level suites at the Palace SUCK. They're so high up that you don't even see the arc on a shot; it looks like the ball is traveling in a straight line. Not to mention that it's going to be hard enough to pry people out of their house as it is; rolling up the cash for even a cheap suite borders on impossible.

I actually liked the upper level suite when I went last year (I'm used to upper level seats though). Yeah its high but it has its perks (private bathroom, bar service, couches). I guess if the price is too high we can scratch that idea. I thought Maker was paying anyway....

Yeah, a suite would be awesome. It would just be a couple hundred a person.

Nice, I guess. But I'm an original Tick fan, i.e. I own all the original comic books.
