I'll take Batum. Feel like this is a steal here.

Total steal. He was my next pick and should be having a great season.

Back to the drawing board for me. So far i really only got one player that i really wanted, and that was due to having the 1st pick. My 2nd pick was going to be Griffin, but he was snagged right before me. :-? I honestly dont like how this draft has been going so far.

Ah I was hoping Batum would slip an extra spot. Guess I'm gonna go with Pau Gasol instead.

Ha - my next 3 were Batum, Dieng and DeRozan! Tough league this Prem business.

Nice drafting all. Don't think my targets will be there my next two picks...

I did smokescreen for Curry  Not sure how much that affected the draft though, if at all.

I feel like if we complain too much about our picks that could reveal some of our draft strategies. Especially in these first few rounds, where you create the core of your team and the disparity between players' values is greater, nobody wants to give too much away in terms of whom they could be targeting. Like, "Damn you, I was really banking on X" could let others figure out the approximate type of player that you're targeting with your pick.

Later in the draft when it becomes more of a crapshoot things might ramp up because guys will be more inclined to take personal favourites they've been feeling hyped for all summer. At least, that's how I feel about it.

So far this has been one of the best drafts we've had. There are a tonne of good teams being made right now.

Unlike the D-League where there is one team that is way ahead of the others. (Fairy Tail's team).

Ya, for some reason the D-League draft was stronger than the Premier League draft for the past 2 seasons, but now Premier League draft is back on top

^Would have to agree, there has been a few more than usual questionable picks so far in the D-League. So far, I've gotten the players I wanted in each round, in the past I'd have to settle for my backup to my backup pick. We'll see how long this trend continues.

Seriously hate Maystack right now. Snagged my Griffin in round #2 and now my Gasol, which i was SURE would be there for me. Looking at the teams so far, in my eyes, he has the team to beat and i hope you have an injury plagued season.

With that being said,

Drummond and Rondo. Last seasons Rebound Leader and Assists Leader.

I was about to say that's you done in FT% but you might be able to avoid last with first few picks/FT guys here on out.

Still, I worked out you'd need something like Harden/KD/Melo/Gallinari with Drummond to get to about 76%....so it's tough to get out of that hole!

Slightly concerned about Rondo's assists dropping down to 7-8 as well, Butler & Wade both handle it a LOT and he won't have free reign in Chicago...

Every year I tell myself not to grab rookies because they're such a big unknown, but I can't turn down Simmons here.

Yeah, thats why i was so hyped on Gasol being there. Once he was taken i realized that i still need rebounds but more importantly blocks and started looking at Drummond. From what i have read, he has been working hard this offseason and #1 on his list was improving his FT%.

As for finishing last in FT%, im not too worried, This isnt the days of D-12 being the only player so dominant in everything but being a death sentence in FT's. I figured that even with Drummond, someone is sure to draft Jordan and someone else will end up with Howard (Or even Biyombo to a point). So im not guaranteed last, but will most likely be fighting with these people for one of the bottom slots.

Now last season i really f'd myself by intentionally tanking FT's by drafting Jordan and Howard.Even then somehow i STILL didnt finish last in FT%(but was close). One is fine, but 2 is a big no-no.

Ok here you go - Ariza's the first big reach, prob 15-20 spots too early IMO. Solid player and usually top 50-60, but he's already 31 and has shot below 42% two years in a row. Also 3 healthy years of 35mpg means I'm nervous about another full slate playing under D'Antoni.

He'll play some PF too which could see injuries pop up...

Yikes. Really bad time for me to be picking. I'll see if I can do a quick overview of my candidates while I'm in class before making a decision. Might take a while though since this is the area I've traditionally performed poorly in.

Oi, fug you too m8

Jk. Having back to back picks means I have to reach if there's a player I want. 37th overall last year, gives me 3s, steals, a handful of rebounds and a couple assists. 31 isn't exactly old and they're going to be scoring a lot with D'Antoni. Low fg% should be easy enough to fix
