Oh Eli...
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Let me know when they get a defense. Nothing trendy about that.

Not sure if you're simply trolling at this point. But no, the Colts are NOT superior to any NFC West teams. The Colts might be one of the worst teams in the entire NFL and this is coming from a die-hard Colts fan.

Their D stink, their O-line can't block and they can't run the ball. Moncrief , Hilton are hurt as is most of their secondary. They are a hot mess right now.

Yeah because they had one of the greatest qbs of all time along with 2 AMAZING receivers

I think Texans still take the division (will take more than one crappy game to get me to change my mind) but it's not like colts are some powerhouse for reasons other than manning

You mean you actually need great players to be able to win consistently?

My point was when he compared them to the pats who seem to retool whenever they lose a player by finding nobodies that seem to fit in

dude, I'm talking through the Colts entire history. Unitas,Jones,Harbough,Manning,Luck.. They always cycle back up and make playoffs no matter who the QB is. Luck was in a conference championship 2 years ago. Manning is yesterdays news.

one bad game? the team just sucked ass against a 3rd string QB when the defense is supposed to be their strength. Its all down hill from here.

I think the Chargers are good and this game worried me. An 0-2 team with Luck at home? Broncos are really tough and they were not completely out of that game until Luck's fumble at the very end.

I think both the Pats and Colts greatly benefited from having a lot of incompetency in the rest of their division for almost 2 decades. Dolphins, Bills, Jets ,Jags, Titans, Texans...have all been horribly run franchises.

The Colt still have the best QB in the division and hence the best chance at SuperBowls out of any AFC South team in the next little while. But we've lost some years here because of Grigson's mostly horrible drafting and FA signings. Bad GM, eccentric owner. So yeah we've needed every bit of the generational talent we've had, unlike the Pats who like you said can fill guys in.

Seems like the Seahawks always have a few bad games to start the season before they get things rolling. They're looking really nice today though.
