McCourt Buys French Soccer Team

Post#65 » by Ranma » Mon Aug 29, 2016 6:22 pm

This doesn't really belong here but it's not worth a new thread IMO.

Da **** ****.

Hi everybody, as you can see I'm french and actually I don't know **** about baseball... but you guys can give me what to expect about McCourt ? A large part of the country is fan of Olympique de Marseille and everybody in newspaper come with his "so Frank McCourt is.. this... that".

Should they fear anything from him ? Plus, I don't think he knows what he's coming in lol. Marseille is plagued with somewhat the mafia, well-known environment of pressure (from "agents" or "people around the club") and some of the REALLY hardest supporters in football

cheap. he will spend as little as possible but treat the team as his own personal ATM. will take a ton of vacations and buy multiple beach front properties. he will dry up your farm teams and do not invest in the international pool of talents. even close down the scouting department. he will raise your tickets prices, concession prices, and parking.

don't forget parking. he loves parking lots. he still owns a piece of the dodger stadium's parking lot and bought the dodgers on a borrowed money against his parking lot in Boston. TJ Simers, the last clever LA Times writer to go, used to call him a Boston Parkinglot Attendent.

there is another nickname we used to call him. A Douchebag.

good luck, hopefully one of your mafia agents will send him to an early grave to end his miserable existence and everyone in France can be happy with the next owner (hopefully one of his sons are a better human being than Frank or Jamie, but you know what they say about apples and their trees) and to be honest, I used to post about my frustration with Frank and my dark fantasies of wanting to run over him in his parking lot like Suge Knight runs over his old friends in SUVs. I wasn't totally happy to see Guggenheim buy my beloved dodgers which has left majority of the fanbase without a TV to watch the games, but was rejoyced to watch Frank and Jamie show end. and I live in Oregon so TV issue isn't my issue but I feel for my fellow brothers in blue. but with all the negatives Guggenheim brought, it outweighs the murderous anger that Frank caused. now the sickness is with you guys. :nonono:

My favorite nonDodger.

He was must see. Whenever I knew he was pitching, i flipped over to watch.

I can't make heads or tails of this. Am I supposed to grieve over someone I don't know. I can't possibly feel what his family is feeling but I was actually a big fan and loved his story etc etc.

His GF was pregnant too.

He was on a short list of people for "best stuff in baseball." The slurve was absolutely disgusting.

RIP.

This Would Be the Perfect Snake Bite in Arizona's Behind

Post#79 » by Ranma » Fri Oct 7, 2016 5:28 am

Please make this happen, Diamondbacks. Not for your sake, of course, but for ours. The comedy factor would be off the charts and we'd finally be rid of Colletti. Kim Ng is also mentioned as a candidate but I don't see the brain trust in Arizona having the good sense to hire her.
