Re: WWE Clash of Champions 2016
Main event was a dud for me.
I'm seeing that I'm the only person on the internet that liked the ending to Sheamus-Cesaro. Finishing with Cesaro in the ring with his arm dangling, demanding a restart was a good bit of storytelling. They've set up a big segment on tomorrow's show. Cesaro has the opportunity to cut an extremely bad-ass promo on how he would have fought to the death for that title shot.
That goes for most of the show. There's a lot of moaning about booking going on, but I thought everything was done correctly. I'm even seeing some complaining about Jericho winning too much. Ha!

Re: WWE Clash of Champions 2016
Gallows & Anderson should've become Tag Champs.
I loved the Cesaro/Sheamus ending.
Charlotte is fantastic. Bayley or Sasha didn't really stand out to me.
Reigns as US Champ is different, I like it.
Wish we seen Triple H tonight, but the main event did it's job.

I didn't want Roman to win even though I'm a roman fan. Think he needs more losing for people to get off his back.
No amount of losing is going to get people off his back. This is not Cena with an established heel run and universally accepted top face run now getting half booed. Hall and Nash on Legends brought up the fact that Roman has one of the top merch and lots of little kids love him, they go to shows and see tons of kids with his stuff. That's probably why they are reluctant to turn him full on but he needs it so bad. Losing isn't going to fix things.

I really don't understand Gallows and Anderson losing again. That's two PPV's challenging for the belts and losing and they are supposed to be your top heel tag team in the company. What do they do now? Why should I be compelled to see them challenge them again (even with the interference today).

Maybe they get rematch and win on RAW. New Day was at 399 days as champions, probably wanted to reach 400

Same here.
Nia
New Day (although I think it's time for Gallows & Anderson to get the belts)
Cesaro
Perkins
Charlotte
Jericho
Reigns
Owens
Pretty close to a perfect mark, only blemish being the Cesaro-Sheamus finish. I thought the show was entirely too predictable, but it still was a decent PPV.

Re: WWE Clash of Champions 2016
I thought the main event was great until Jericho showed up, HHH has to be involved in this feud eventually right?
Cesaro/Sheamus and Cruiserweight matches were good and obviously I liked the triple threat match for the Woman's Title. The rest was kinda meh...

Re: WWE Clash of Champions 2016
I really enjoyed the ppv. We had a double screen goin with this and the Cowboys/Bears game. I guess the running commentary my friends and I have can make any of these enjoyable.
Was legit afraid Cesaro might've broke his neck, idk what the hell he was going for. Suicide dives need to be tabled, they're as stale as super kicks. Great match aside from that and the weird finish. Love watching him and Sheamus brawl
Cruiserweights was good as was the triple threat match. Charlotte is so f*ckin good.
Jericho is doing some of the best work of his career outside the ring, him and Zayn were clearly off tonight and id attribute most of that to Chris being a step slow.
Main event was decent. Thought hhh would show up tonight, instead it ended with that entirely to long ref bump and I guess Rollins being distracted cause the one ref was checking on the other?

Apparently Seth is legitimately injured and could be out a while.

You may be right, I don't know the CW's as well as some of you guys. I just look at Perkins as one of the guys that could fit in to that early Mysterio model where he shouldn't be cutting any promos or if he does, keep em simple but have great matches with great combos that fans get behind. In that sense, then you bring in a major heel to carry the promo side of things and then let the guys you mention and a few others come in and sort of help really establish the division.
What they really should have done was signed Ibushi or Sabre to a short-term deal with the WWE so they could appear at the PPV as the first challenger for the new Cruiserweight Title. They'd lose, but I think both would have given us a much better match than Kendrick is capable of. Not that Kendrick is bad or anything, and I think he did some of the best work of his career in the CWC, but Ibushi and Sabre are both incredible and I think going over one of them at Clash would have appeared to be a bigger deal for the new champ.

I think the overall presentation of the Cruiserweights has been poor, although I did really like Kendrick turning heel. But I don't think match quality has been the issue. Yes, there were many better possible matchups for last night than the one we saw. But the 4-way and last night's match were more than good enough that if the other facets of the presentation had been better I would be more optimistic.

The match quality has been fine thus far, but I think that Ibushi or Sabre could have put on a four to five star match with Perkins at Clash, whereas the match with Kendrick was more in the three to three and a half range. When you're trying to establish a new division, putting on an absolute clinic of a wrestling match would go a long way toward getting the fans engaged.

We're talking about a show that had Zayn-Jericho and had Owens-Rollins on top so they would've had to eclipse those guys to such a degree and Its virtually impossible to imagine them having that type of match because of the crowd's lack of investment in them, the amount of time they got and where they were on the card.
