Congrats Pharaoh and Lionlifer on the tag team apparoach that resulted in a nice looking team. Good luck.

Wallace 38 / Edwards 10
Green 38 / Edwards 6 / DeBusschere 4
DeBusschere 28 / Aguirre 20
Billups 36 / Hamilton 12
Thomas 36 / Hamilton 12

Team Summary:

I believe this is a well constructed team. First there's the incredible intangibles - the DNA. This would be a fantastic team to coach. Every player is a champion and had a significant role on their title team. Isiah and Chauncey are great leaders.

The defense is outstanding, particularly the interior with Wallace and Green. DeBusschere made several first team all-D, while Billups and Isiah are capable defenders.

On offense, Isiah is an elite playmaker and scorer. I'm comfortable Chauncey has the tools to be a very effective two guard when they're on the floor together. And when it's Chauncey and Rip, they'll do their thing. Chauncey, Draymond, and DeBuss provide solid spacing on the starting unit while Ben is a demon at the offensive glass. There's also an instant-offense player off the bench for every position - Buddha, Rip, and Aguirre. Rip and Aguirre are versatile scorers who also provide spacing. Buddha brings a long body and low post game.

Match-Up Specifics

They're a solid team, that seems to be built around Lanier. Wallace is a phenomenal defender and there is the long frame of Buddha in reserve. There are other fine players, but no one else I feel I'd have to game plan for.

On offense, the elite playmaking, spacing, and multiple prongs of instant offense off the bench should provide enough points for the win.

In the event the forfeit isn't accepted:

Lanier, Rodman, Dice is better than Big Ben, Draymond & Budda.

Assuming you believe Rodman& Wallace cancel each other out Dice beats Budda as a 20/10 dude (Denver days) and Lanier destroys the nut cracker.

DeBusschere & Aguirre aren't gonna be able to handle Jalen (Pacer finals form) & Steve Smith (Atlanta era) - they're too versatile offensively

While it appears Laimbeer has assembled the greatest backcourt in history I doubt they handle Bing, Joe & Vinnie.

Let us not forget that Joe & Vinnie were 2 thirds of the greatest backcourt in Pistons history...and if you gotta replace Zeke there's none better than Bing for that spot.

So, in summary:

The PF/C is gold!

The SG/PG combo is gold too.

And on the wing are 2 guys that can do it all, including initiate the offense

It's the typical Pistons team where not only is the D stellar but offensively you can't hope to stop all the weapons simultaneously - can't be done

No forfeit, I'd much rather open it up to voting!

Ultimately, I like the combination of Thomas, Green, and Big Ben defensively in this match up and think they fit well offensively as well.
