Pretty odd comment regarding Pascal starting next year.

Feels like media day just crept up on me. I guess with the olympics, jays, etc it just seems like it. Gonna be an interesting season, with all the hype/accomplishments last season especially its hard to gauge where they'll end up.

It'll probably be an okay season. Probably not as great as last season, so anything less would be seen as disappointment I guess.

I'm mostly watching for the young guys right now, but obviously Lowry and co will have their moments as usual.

Pretty much where I'm at as well. If JV can have an all-star type season and Powell can continue to beat expectations then I won't be too disappointed.

Even if JV has an all-star type season that doesn't negate the fact that he is still a negative on the defensive end. All-star type seasons are based solely on offensive output and sexyness. Biyombo was realistically able to switch comfortably onto most PnR situations and was an absolute force in the minds of attacking offensive players. If Norm takes the step we expect him to and Carroll is able to squeak in 65+ games we don't need any more offence. Like why is that so hard for people to understand? We won games last year because we could rely on our defense and grind out wins on crappy possessions. It's like you guys want to see a repeat of the team that got swept by the Wizards.
