Cousins, and possibly at mid-season.

Probably what I'd think too. The relationship between Mitch and Divac might get us in the ground floor with an offer they'd atleast consider.

Yeah, no doubt. I think that whole situation is going to explode around January again. Los Angeles is the one place I could see him being traded to where he'll be patient as players develop and pieces get put around him.

If we trade for a future star I doubt it will be for any of the above listed and definitely not in the foreseeable future. The signings of Mozgov and Deng clearly point to the FO thinking in the long term.

The ship for Cousins has sailed IMO. It's a combination of Sac's ridiculous asking price, the fact that he's not that good, and he doesn't naturally fit Luke's system.

I like PG but I would have to go with Cousins. I don't like Cousins but based on our current line up and needs the center position is the void that we need to fill.

As somebody who is a big fan of Cousins I would love to see him in the purple and gold but I think we know that Sacramento's asking price is going to be high. It might very well start off with Ingram and Russell and I'm not really sure I'm willing to part with them.

Im not a fan of cousins at all, seeing some of his low light efforts on D is really sad, like not even trying bad just stands there. I hope sac keeps asking price ridiculously high so cousin will just sign elsewhere after his contract is over

Idk, it seems forced if we go after Cousins, especially with what we would have to give up. If it doesn't include D'lo, then I wouldn't mind too much.

The comparison of JC to Kobe, is like Randle to Green. Completely no comparison.

I don't think that's a legit source.

Not a Cousins fan at all. Getting him might have me StubHub my tickets for a season or two.

NBA Trade Rumors: Paul George goes to Los Angeles Lakers, Metta World Peace to Indiana Pacers

Indiana Pacers star Paul George is now included in the latest NBA trade rumors. The 6′9″ forward is reportedly going to Los Angeles Lakers to become its new star player. As a replacement, the Lakers might send Metta World Peace to the Pacers.

As we already know, five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant will not be going to play for Lakers next season. With their biggest superstar gone, D'Angelo Russell and the rest of the Lakers team have to survive until the playoffs.

On the other hand, Indiana Pacers made some changes on their player lineup. They brought guard Jeff Teague and forward Thaddeus Young during the offseason. The two are boost big boost for the team's offense. Also, they are expected to deliver Larry Bird's wishes to have fast-paced and offense-driven Pacers.

As of now, the Lakers will be an easy prey for much stronger teams like the Oklahoma City Thunders and Toronto Raptors. But if they want to have strong lineup next season, they need an offensive player that can shoot three-points and drive to the basket. As we mentioned earlier, George might be shipped to Lakers as replacement for Bryant.

In terms playing of style, Bryant and George have a lot in common. Both have efficient post moves, slashing ability and decent ball handling skills. Plus, they are both good in one-on-one plays.

With that said, George could become the new face of the Lakers following Bryant's retirement.

Meanwhile, for Metta World Peace, he can provide good defense for the Pacers. While the guards are manning the offensive load, the veteran forward can concentrate on preventing opponents from scoring.

There ain't no way in God's green Earth we're getting Paul George for Artest. Never mind the trade logistics....you know the Pacers have already received at least half a dozen offers 5 times better than that for the guy.

Just a giant salary dump?? Essentially waive Paul George....I just dont see it. Honestly...if the Pacers come off as that desperate to just get the guy off their hands, and aren't even trying to get anything in return useful, I would start to get really suspicious that they know something.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
