Did you see his face light up when they asked him about playing with stretch 4's? I love that guy!

Dante said he's 205 right now. Pretty good weight for him, methinks.

Fairly boring media day, but I think that's probably because a lot of the players have been here for years. The talk centered around the amount of depth this team has and how everyone will need to sacrifice in order for it to work. Joe Johnson is going to have a major role on this team I think, maybe even as a starter.

Zach Harper with an article on the Jazz:
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/if-the-jazz-are-to-live-up-to-their-top-5-hype-first-they-must-control-it/

If the Jazz are to live up to their top-5 hype, first they must control it
The Utah Jazz have a chance to be a lot better than you might think

The Utah Jazz are, in terms of depth and well-rounded talent, probably a top 5 team in NBA heading into the 2016-17 season. That probably sounds crazy to a lot of people, but it's true.

The question is whether their record this coming season, and potential playoff seed, will ultimately reflect that talent. You have to assume Utah will be in the postseason this year. They weren't this good last season and still only missed the playoffs by two games, and statistically they performed much better than their 40-42 record.

In fact, despite injuries to Derrick Favors (20 games), Rudy Gobert (21 games), Alec Burks (51 games), and Dante Exum (the entire season), the point differential of the Jazz last season projected them to finish with a 46-36 record. That would've made them the No. 5 seed in the West, which seems like a reasonable, if even a little conservative, projection for this year.

I'm not sure how to link an Instagram, but I saw that George Hill is embracing the community and helping out the homeless- count me as a fan of him as an individual regardless of how he plays (which I anticipate to be much, much better than the PG play we've got the past couple of years).

Seems like Burks' surgery was more serious than I thought. He's seems to not be cleared for contact yet. They expect him to be ready by the start of the season, but this one is weird. It was presented as some minor procedure and they were saying he's going to be ready before training camp, but it seems like he didn't participate in contact activities today and might miss the pre-season games. That's really odd.

I love the video, got me hyped! Too bad we've still got a month till the season. I mean, I guess media day and the preseason are better than the offseason, but I have such a hard time tuning in to a preseason game for more than five or ten minutes.
