In the past I used adfreetime.com ($2 a month) to bypass the blackout when I was in the US.

If I could get the ILP version of LP here in the USA, then I would have few problems with it. I just hate the local and national blackouts.

You can sign up for a VPN and switch your IP to look like you're out of the country.

That said it's not worth it. I'm a cord-cutter (Comcast will never see one more dime from me) and I had subscribed to the US LP but between not having home (Warrior) games and the lagginess of the client (always locking up when the good plays happen and crowd gets loud), and the worst part, the replays only show made buckets.....it's just not worth it.

Now I have the sports bar down the street to watch games 8-)

Let me get this straight: you figured out how to use a VPN how to change countries, but never realized you can use it to change US cities?

Trust me I started out on commodore 64s, no issues finding a way around the rules. I can always figure out how to cheat but at this point in my life I'm kind of too lazy. I just figure I won't patronize companies that make my life difficult.

Was reading what's included in this seasons international version and saw something about downloadable games under the mobile section?

Does this mean we can finally download games and watch them offline? Because that would be a game changer.

i have found that on my xbox one the streams freeze up with that little spinning circle a LOT, but on my old 360 in another room it is very very stable

anyone else have this experience?

Has anyone researched what the pricing costs in each country, and the lowest price available? I'm going to check it out in a bit. It's $150 Canadian, but I'm going to be purchasing LP International since it includes the playoffs.

Yeah $200 for all teams vs $120 for one team is bad value. The NBA is very predictable especially with Cavs and GSW recently. You probably don't even need to follow the NBA and a quick brief you up to speed heading into the finals.

I've been looking but haven't found one. There was one two years ago where a user listed every single country's price point and it was an amazing reference guide. If you find one for this year, please link it here.

On a different note, has anyone received their 15% discount code for repeat LP customers? If so, what is it?

The I stands for International. You can only order it with a foreign IP and billing address. You will also not be able to use it if you travel to the US on vacation.

I'm already signed up to ILP since I live in Australia, however I'm travelling through Hawaii and LA in November and want to be able to watch games on ILP.

The last time I was in Hawaii/Chicago my friend did something on the laptop to allow us to watch games on ILP. Does anyone know how to do it? I don't want to miss 1 month of games, especially since I'm paying $340 for ILP

Thanks

Hey mate, post I made earlier. Only trouble I had watching games in US in multiple states on multiple trips was that local black outs applied, which doesn't matter because you can just turn on the TV.
Sofia wrote:International blackouts may change depending on your local broadcast rights. If a local provider holds 'live and exclusive' broadcast rights for certain televised games, it's likely you'll get locked out while that game is on. You can still watch other matches at the same time, and watch the replay of the black out match straight after.

It may be worth contacting LP help if you are unsure of whether your country will have blackouts.

Also, be aware the broadcast contracts and exclusivity rights may change for regular season and various rounds of the playoffs... I remember a few years back when the east was at its worst, one of our local broadcast outlets proudly proclaiming they had Eastern semis live and exclusive, like anyone really gave a **** about those 2 series.

You can use it in the US, as long the game you are not in the blackout area of the game you are trying to watch, and depending on the national broadcast schedule. I had no issues watching Clips v Memphis playoff games in my hotel in New York or Seattle in 2012, and haven't really had any other issues that come to mind in other trips during regular season.

The price I was charged (standard not premium) was 119.99 eur in Latvia (~134 USD), the same as last year, with the only difference that in 2015 I paid in November and last year 119.99 eur was worth more dollars.
But I do not understand people complaining about not being able to re-watch etc. All the possibilities were there last year. I could watch the games in the morning (NY games typically start at 2AM our time, so it becomes a little tiring after a while), fast forward during breaks (not for live games, of course), look for specific players moments etc.
THis year they added video vault as a bonus to my package. I have not tried that out yet.

Did not try these days, but last year everything was smooth on my xbox one. Anyway, i rarely used it, usually is phone/tablet-chromecast combination for me.

But i noticed if you sign in first on the xbox, and then on the phone, you have two streams at once. Don't know if they adress the issue this year.

$130 in Romania ( or €120)

No discount for being a returning customer, though.

Anybody else using a PS3? The NBA app is no longer available? Not sure what I'm going to do. Luckily I have my iPad.

It looks like India is the cheapest country to purchase the package in with Indonesia being a close second.

Does anyone know if they're sending out the 15% discount code to repeat customers this year?

I got an email from NBA league pass saying that they would automatically renew my TEAM pass on oct 17th. Not sure which option I'm taking this year, but at least we know that the team pass will still be available.
