On Boban:

“He’s unstoppable down low; I don’t think anybody has an answer to that. He’ll be even better when we just get into playing,” Van Gundy glowed. “A guy his size, he works extremely hard, but all these hours on the court take a toll. After a while, it makes it tough on him.

“Once he gets established in the half-court, there’s not a good way to play him. He’s so big and so skilled that it’s hard.”

“He is a very efficient guy. He gets down, establishes low-post position and if you get him the ball — I don’t know what you do (defensively),” Van Gundy said. “He’s a good rebounder and he can be very effective.”

Thanks for posting it. Was already a fan of Harris and this just adds to it.

Love the fact he feels the need to explain he had healthy pancakes!

Really excited about all the different lineups and versatility we have this season. We are pretty friggin deep, even our 3rd stringers consist of names like Boban, McCollum, Hilliard/Bullock, Ellenson, Gbinige.

Hi long time lurker here, very excited for this season. I've been watching the pistons since the Silverdome days. This forum has helped me stay up to date since I moved from Mi back in 09.

Anyway, I just started following the pistons on Facebook and it's a lot of fluff but some good stuff too. There's a kcp video where he's sitting at home rambling on about training camp. I don't know how to link Facebook videos or else I would have. Todd3 would love it.

Thanks for everyone's contributions on here it's helped me stay informed on my pistons. Detroit vs everbody!

wow, last year it was cool as it was an actual scrimmage. This year it was pretty terrible. Glad I didn't go.

To be fair I misunderstood and thought it was an actual practice but it sounds like much more of a introduction and meet and greet with fans which is pretty cool for different reasons.
