teams with rookie QBs are not very good teams or you have to admit the league is trash because QB is supposed to be such a hard leadership position.

the Panthers are sub par, losing to teams with inexperienced offenses.

they have lost to a rookie QB and a team that lost its starting QB and RB.

They've lost to two very good 3-0 teams, each of whom have defeated other solid opponents as well. Those teams were also the top two defenses in the league, and they were a missed game winning field goal from winning the first. Calm down.

Atlanta is leading their division averaging 30 points a game with the QB that actually starts for them, not a back up.

I picked ATL and New Orleans to make playoffs and nothing is changing that.

pardon my redundancy.. a team who can get a free agent QB and beat a team the following week is not a very good team. The QB cant know enough to be that good. The Panthers lost with a team that has a QB that is supposed to know its teams system up and down.
regardless of the score of the Denver game, they still in fact lost to a rookie QB lead team.
The Panthers arent good this year at all. They cant beat team who lost starters or have inexperienced QBs.
Maybe the social unrest outside the stadium caused them to lose?

the Vikings have a very good defense= that also means the Panthers are so bad that they cant beat teams who's defense is stronger than the offense and dont score as much.
it means the Panthers are bad on both sides of the ball.

Oh dear, Ernie. I sure hope you are not one of those posters who comes around during the offseason, posts all kinds of rediculous, off the wall predictions, then disappears once every single one of them proves to be false.

You said the Bills would lose last week and you had New Orleans winning last night. thanks for the tip by the way. I'm 2 - 0 putting in two bets opposite that you predicted. thank you. Seeings how I'm already playing on house money, I'm taking the Patriots and Chargers this weekend. :clown:

who picked the Broncos to win in week one when a majority said Panthers? I did
Who picked Vikings to beat GB and Rams to beat Seattle in week two when everyone thought that was impossible? I did.
that makes me 3-2 in so called risky predictions. If you are so mature and so smart about football, how come youve already decided playoffs in week four?
you say you hope I dont make unrealistic/ridiculous predictions in off season and yet I already came early this year and made predictions you cant understand and dont know whether they come to pass. Odds are,of the 12 teams for playoffs I picked, I'll only be wrong 4 times which will be better than anyone elses top 12.

What a minute. Excuse me. I've only made one playoff prediction so far and that was the other day when I said hands down the Patriots would win the AFC East. My other 2 predictions, I made way back weeks ago with the Chiefs and Vikings before the season started is assuming that is what you are talking about. Those were just 2 small prop bets for $50.00 each I made before the season started mostly because I got great odds on them. I guess you weren't paying attention that day. I did however predict in here that I felt both teams were IMHO, top 3 in their respective conferences. I also posted the Jaguars and one other non revealed team as my sleepers. But I have yet to set anything in stone just yet outside of the Patriots winning their division.

Not questioning your very few correct picks. Hell I had those same picks in my pig skin pick em and bet one of those games on the side and won with it. I just never told you or mentioned it. I'm just pointing out the many picks and predictions you have been wrong about and continuously to be wrong about. You have a clever way of changing the subject and turnning and twisting things even when you are wrong. Not sure how serious I can take you when you are right.

Possibly but it's not some fluke as to why they won. It's the D that won it all last year. It's proven to keep them in any game and give them a chance to win.

Yeah, they've only beaten the defending NFC champs, your Indy Colts predicted great team, and the Bengals (a team that has made the playoffs multiple years in a row) on the road by double digits, all with a rookie qb. I'm sure they are about to fold.

I'd be happy to see SD overtake them somehow, someway, but that is unlikely and they are the best team in the AFC right now. New England has looked good as well, but considering Denver is also playing with a less seasoned qb and has probably played a tougher schedule, they should probably be ranked #1.

there you go again, basing the next 13 weeks on the last 3. Who said the Bengals were good? theyve looked pretty average so far.Beating the Jets and Dolphins is pretty weak proof of anything.
they /Broncos beat the so called nfc champs with lesser QB play,(although more intelligent,) in the SB in the first place. So of course they beat them again. The Panthers are obviously a lesser team now.
It remains to be seen what Denver might be .With a rookie QB,the decline will come.
The Colts and their veteran QB leadership skills, will have a much more eventful season.

Now now... as I noted a couple of weeks ago, Ernie provides a tremendous value every sports forum needs and thrives off of. He provides a unique perspective we can all sit back and chuckle at.
