I love the show so far but Ali is acting rings around Colter.
I would be pissed at Woodard for not being fat enough for the role she's playing but it's alfre friggin Woodard.

That "everybody wants to be the king," scene is probably my favorite comic book show scene. Keeping his hand open because it's not cool to hit a woman with a closed fist

Ali definitely getting an Emmy for this. Stake my life on it.

Just finished Episode 3. Sh*t just got REAL.

Way better. Daredevil is way better too. I powered my way through Jessica Jones so I can watch this proper but man is it bad. Just a terrible show.

Only 3 episodes into Luke Cage but I think Daredevil is probably still better (the action scenes are so amazing).

AmazingJason wrote:I just finished Flash S2 and Arrow S4. Flash S2 had one of the worst season finales in television history; the type that makes you want to quit the show altogether. Arrow was just alright. I think the show went off the rails at the end of S3, and every character's development has gotten so convoluted that it's probably why
Spoiler:
the whole team got purged
Arrow S5 trailer does look sick, but I have a bad feeling with
Spoiler:
all these new kid recruits that came out of thin air that Oliver has to babysit

That being said, I'm really looking forward to Luke Cage. Will be marathoning the hell out of it later through alternative streaming sites.

You disliked the Flash finale? The ending is probably the most hyped I've ever gotten for a superhero show. You know much about Flash and DC comics?

Arrow is trash though. Peaked in season 2 and fell off quick.

Polk377 wrote:I've been looking forward to this for a while. The Netflix Marvel series has easily been the best thing they have been doing.

Captain America movies >>>>

Season 3 of arrow picked up after a terrible start. Still, season 1&2 were awesome. Reminds me a lot of Bataan Begins.

Jessica Jones is abysmal.

The only movies on par with Winter Soldier and Civil War are probably Iron Man, The two Avengers flicks GOTG and the the first two Nolan batman flicks. I have high hopes for Dr Strange. Thinking the eye of whatever will be powered by an infinity stone.

Just finished S3 of Blacklist and am now powering through the final 3 seasons of POI.

Episode one and two.... Wow, it´s obviously better than Jessica Jones, the question now is how good will it get.

Is everyone watching this show high or something? My goodness, the acting is atrocious, the writing is abysmal, the directing is nonexistent, and the cinematography looks like it's been done by a first-year film student. I had lofty expectations for this show and I'm hoping it gets better (I just finished episode 4); however, to say I'm highly disappointed with this series would be an understatement.

The reference to "the Mack" are just some of the details that make this show something special...

That said, I am also stoked for Westworld. Remember folks, Robot means Slave! ;)

I am 2 episodes into the series and it is my opinion that they are doing a great justice to Luke Cage. I am not upset with the Alfre Woodard thing due to the fact that her role in Civil War was such a small one and insignificant plus she is an amazing actress. I love the fact that every episode of the show is named after a Gang Star track. Marvel on Netflix is killing everything on regular TV right now.

Finally finished the show and it's quite ballsy.

Spoiler:
Having the bad guys win. Wow. The first half was much better then the first since cottonmouth was a much more compelling villain then Diamondback.

It doesn't necessarily have to be Matt, it could be Jeri. :P

I've yet to get around to watching it but most comic book based shows are trash and the fans of those shows ether have lower standards or just love the material so much they are blinded to the negatives

I really liked season 1 of DD and thought maybe Netflix might have something but JJ was meh and season 2 of DD was very disappointing.... to say my expectations have changed is also a understatement

I finished it also, and even though it's an opinion, I disagree.

Spoiler:
When Diamondback came on the scene., he immediately killed all competition but kept Domingo alive to be his b*tch and told Mariah that there's no difference between what you do and what I do. He got a hold of the one thing that can kill Cage and used it himself.

Didn't the actor who played him look like Candyman? lol

Binged watch season 1 this weekend. Love this show. Casting is excellent, personally I liked Jessica Jones but I liked this show more. Some of the cameos were great, especially the musical ones. Great hearing Method Man doing his thing at the end.

Diamondback is a great villain, season 2 is going to be bananas. Dont want to wait a year though, lol.
Trust but verify.
