Forgot about Girodanos on sandlake, they have amazing stuffed pizza. Chain resturants can have good pizza like mellow & flippers but they are a completely diffrent category when I rank pizza places lol

Unfortunately, we are in Orlando not in NY or Chicago. So there's that.
Are you aware that Orlando is a test market for lots of restaurants? That there are plenty of great local places here who make great food? Having a great pizza place is not an impossible task. So there's that as well.
Apparently having a good pizza is subjective, or you need to travel to NY or Chicago, how about traveling to Italy for a slice? Geez it's just pizza we're talking about. If you don't like Orlando's choices it's all good, some people do. No need to turn the thread into something it shouldn't be.
You completely missed the point. Don't even worry about it.

I agree that it shouldn't be that hard but pizza is just one of those things.
I lived in Orlando for 20+ years and another 5+ in Texas. Never once did I find anything close to what I had in one summer of Chicago or a weekend visit to NY.

And I get that, but this person is looking for a very specific type of authentic pizza.
In my opinion, it's best to enjoy the other great food options Orlando does have and sadly forget about finding great pizza.

Re: OT - Best pizza in Orlando
It's ok guys I have the answer to your question. I eat pizza 3-5 times a week and have had everywhere EXCEPT Xtreme Pizza.
The answer is.......a tie
Eagles Pizza is a whole in the wall (literally) in DT Orlando. If you happen to find it you will be greeted by a super cute girl at the window and an Amazingggg slice. I wish they delivered. I call all the time hoping to get pizza and I always have to settle for either Paninos, Gittos or Planet.
Eagles is tied with Giordiannos on Idrive. The reason it's tied is because it's so completely different it's like eating a whole different food. Giordiannos is the closest you can get to Chicago style pizza. They also have good service. I do like to warn it's pricey you are looking at almost $30's each time.
Honorable mention Brick n Fire.
Also Paninos and Lazy Moon are good BUT most of the time I've had it I was not sober.
I personally don't like Cornerstone Pizza on Michigan, Antonitos Around Sanford area and more locations and all of Papa Johns. It's hard to mess up a pizza and they tend to do it.

Eagles is tied with Giordiannos? Wow. Gios is my favorite. I will have to walk down there and check this out.
