I'm not sure that's Victor's fault though...
Then who's fault is it? if he can't put the ball in the hoop, find someone who can.
VO doesn't like to defer.
I assume OKC lost after being up? VO is a talented player, but yeah, i think that we need to stop living in denial about what he can cost you in games simply to support the idea that we had a bad offseason.
I mean, if you close out the game with Kanter, Abrines, Ilyasova, Singler and Huestis on the floor with him and Westbrook only plays 2 quarters he's probably not gonna look great
I watched him from before his draft. I thought he was going to be a player he wasn't. I watched him try and try and try to become what Russ is for you guys, what D-Wade was for Miami, what Harden is for Houston and was for you guys--he's just not that player.
For all the talent he has--his athleticism, his length, quickness, tenacity, he has a difficult time closing it out when it matters and he will often try too hard to force a play that isn't there.
I see he put up 34, and I'm not trying to start yet another argument with you guys about the trade or the players involved. He's going to have lots of nights where he is going to get you VERY excited about being on the team, but once the novelty wears thin, you'll understand.
My post was directed toward the many posters within the Magic forum, that are now to a point where they virtually root against the team because they must be correct in their assertion that we had a terrible offseason, and that Hennigan has no clue what he's doing.
