People are upset that the Nuggets weren't broadcast last night? Me too!!!
So this morning I looked around and as of 10:20 AM the Nuggets' official YouTube page has zero clips from last night's game - that includes zero clips from post game interviews. Looks like the Nuggets care about as much as Altitude.
As of 10:20 AM the Nuggets' official NBA.com page has some pictures from the game but zero commentary and zero - post game interviews/comments --- they do have the box score and such that every NBA team page has but no doubt that is the NBA not the Nuggets doing that work. Looks like the Nuggets couldn't care less about their team or maybe it's their fans.
Color me DISAPPOINTED in the Nuggets themselves. They need to hire someone that knows how to spell HYPE and then maybe they'll find some seats in their seats. In the meanwhile, I consider their seats worthy of empty-ness.

Altitude is owned by Kroenke sports and entertainment, the Nuggets are owned by Kroenke sports and entertainment, they are the same company. For some reason they have always considered summer league and preseason as a waste of time trying to televise it, but I think you are right that they are wrong and that is just one of many reasons they are failing to garner enthusiasm among fans.

They are separate legal entities and they "hide" behind that. It might work if they didn't love to trumpet the name Kroenke everywhere and then assume their fans are too stupid to figure out the reality. They treat the Avalanche the same way they treat the Nuggets. I'm not looking for a 26 camera full production crew. Two or three cameras would be fine and it's a great opportunity to give people some experience, like new camera folk and new statistics people and so forth.

Speaking about the Nuggets' "low key" approach including no pre-season broadcasts, it includes the following:
"For a team trying to up their fan attendance from last in the league, this may not be the smartest marketing move.
For the team, though, and their on-court performance, this was absolutely the correct move."

I'm failing to understand how broadcasting a pre-season game would have any effect whatsoever on the team's "on-court performance". That's a weird claim to make.
I think it's another missed opportunity by the Nuggets and another example of them simply not caring. We don't even need a television broadcast. Just send a camera man out there and live stream the game on their website, no broadcast crew needed. That can't possibly be that expensive.

Call it the "Wal-mart approach to basketball" - spend as little as possible and count every penny. Like Wal-mart, they just don't care about their customers - but they will complain about them. Sometimes I wish I could stop being a Nuggets fan.

Lol there will be plenty to cheer about this season + 2 1st round picks in the talented 2017 draft. Now is the time to be a Nuggets Fan.
