Woke up early to watch the stream on League Pass. Wasn't televised so it didn't show there. I then went to watch the Suns stream on demand only to be told it's not available in my location. Guess I'll just stare at the box score.

Let me explain. No. There is too much. Let me sum up.
Booker is a God. Bender and Chriss are each good and bad. Knight is the worst player in the NBA. Archie is a ballhog. We almost lost to the Spurs without everyone except Kawhi who only played 20 minutes. We're the worst team in the NBA - expect a lot of garbage time minutes played poorly.
Or you can accept the fact that this was the first non-practice game played with lineups that haven't really had time to familiarize themselves with one another, and while it was quite messy, we did win and the youngins looked like they'll become fine NBA players.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Oh how your crankiness has been missed. A little hard to talk about basketball with no game to watch though.

Re: Preseason Game 1 - San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns
I finally watched the game thanks to Kerrsed.
First of all, Booker is a really smart player and he takes advantage of any mismatch. He is so versatile offensively even at this age which is remarkable. He has so many weapons offensively. I also see he is trying hard on the defensive end but he is not there yet. Sometimes he can't set his feet and struggle with the timing. It was nice to see Booker going to the line constantly. Good game for him.
As for rookies, I like their energy and ambition. Yes they are making mistakes, turnovers, stupid decisions but that's why we call them rookie and raw. I'd much prefer to see rookies making mistakes for the sake of creating or contributing rather than just passing the ball and staying passive.
Chriss is a really talented finisher. He just needs to calm down and not try to dunk everything. If he settles down and focuses on scoring not dunking, then his efficiency will rise immediately. He puts his hands on almost every offensive board. Liked his game.
Bender is really different than Chriss and more difficult to judge I think. He isn't in a finisher role. In his first years, his offense will consist 3pt shooting and maybe some degree of playmaking. If he excels at defense, then he'll get his minutes. If not, Chriss will get ahead in rotation since he can be more useful with his finishing.
Ulis just rushed and made some quick and bad decisions. It's OK though. I think he will be a very very dangerous backup PG.
Chandler was good. He is still an important threat in P&R situations. Dudley is a really good addition. He just knows how to contribute without scoring. Really good at small but effective details.
Yes it was an ugly game with a lot of turnovers and too many missed shots. But what I liked to see was the ball movement. I can really see the difference between this summer and past seasons. And I think our offense will only improve.

Re: Preseason Game 1 - San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns
Ok, for everyone thats been asking, here is a link for yesterdays game. Somehow NBA Broadband found my unlisted video this morning and filed a copyright claim (for their 2 minute long commercial during halftime), but they are still allowing my upload to stay up, it just might have a few commercials added (thanks to them). Also, it picks up in the 2nd quarter, as my 1st stream was reported within minutes and taken down.

Thanks, I was able to watch Suns.com but I will be blocked on Wednesday game.
