Whoever threw that can should be banned from the ballpark for life. I swear Toronto has the worst baseball fans.

For throwing a can near a player, without actually hitting anyone?

The guy was obviously an idiot, but people are taking this way too far, especially with judging all of us because of this.

Astros lost the division to a team with a run differential of +8. Embarrassing. I don't blame you for being salty.

Based on Game 5 last year, I'd say it's way more than 1 idiot.

Not throwing all of you under the bus but fairly or unfairly, all fans get tarnished when morons are unleashed.

So like 3?

That changes the percentage of idiot fans per game from 0.0002℅ to 0.0006%.

Speaking of small numbers though, how about that Rangers run differential?

So you are saying that only two people were responsible for all that carnage last year? Clearly "delusional" extends beyond Maple Laffs fans.

And as far as "run differential"...

Was an amazing game last night in terms of pitching so why talk about errant one beer can throw?

There is usually a good rapport between opposing players and fans. I remember Hideo Nomo once gathering some balls and giving them to young fans in the section where the jackass was. As for people wasting $10 of 12 ounce garbage brew remember the city did not allow drinking at ball games until 10 years after the Jays came into the league. Clearly, the Toronto-The-Good brigade's fertile imaginations worried about the the 2 in 50,000 ratio ballooning to 3. It's taken 35 years. A whole generation being at risk of debauchery never materialized. We are peace loving in Toronto. We are not the Bronx zoo.

And - once again... all it takes is one moron hurling a beer can or another moron (or two) hurling racial epithets to completely undermine those 35 years. And when compounded with the events (and morons) from Game 5 last year, you end up with what we refer to as a perception problem. Take it from someone who grew up 66 miles north of where a president was assassinated. It takes awhile to remove that stain.

Wonder what that record would be if you had to play real teams like the Red Sox, Orioles and Yankees all year and not teams like the A's and Angels...

Hell - if Houston had just won half their games against the Rangers it would have been a different division.

They won 3.
