Not necessarily, even if the jurors are largely hispanic. If Rose is adamant about his innocence and he has come this far I would think he wants to see it through now and not cave in at the last possible moment.

6 women, 2 men on the jury, and none of them are black. This does not bode well at all for Rose.

It doesn't matter the sex or race of the jurors. This is about guilty or innocent, and your race doesn't play a factor in determining that.

I agree with the sentiment, but you can't deny the fact that negative and positive racial/gender biases still exist and affect the decisions people make on a daily basis. It's not unreasonable at all for the defense to want a jury panel with a more representative demographic.

Also, you guys should follow Julia Marsh on twitter. She has great coverage of the trial so far. I personally don't think there is enough evidence to say that he did it and that this could be a money grab. But I'm certainly not firm in that opinion. The idea there might be a rapist on the team makes me uncomfortable.

Also, for those that don't know, the jury has to be unanimous in order for the plaintiff to win.

Women will be bias and sympathetic with another woman,,,,,unless that other woman is shown to be morally and unscrupulously loose then married women turn on her like someone sneezing on the train. So who knows right?
