Post#1 » by jwise44 » Sun Oct 2, 2016 11:40 pm

Anyone watching? Anybody?

I will be mainly watching it and flip to the football games occasionally

Kinda excited to watch jimmer. I called him as a bust but grew to sort of root for him

All but one of the Rockets shots have been assisted. It's the sharks but still encouraging for ball movement

damn jimmer is trash...his inability to get his teammates involved makes him tough to watch

the announcer said all you need to know - "the numbers look good, but we know the story!"

I'm a James Harden hater however I loved the way he played in this game. Yes the competition wasn't strong but he played the right way and it was encouraging to see. If he can keep up this style of play and play a bit more defence this season, it's going to be hard for me to hate on him...

Game was Blacked Out on International League Pass zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

How was Harden at "Point guard?" Any different than before?

I like what I am seeing from Nene. When we call Asik's hands are carved from stone - Nene's are probably from silk. Man he just catches everything.

Don't understand why PJ Hairston didn't play.

I believe people from the Rockets, or at least MDA, have basically said this move is about his D League rights so he doesn't have a real shot at making the roster so thy aren't going to play him

In addition to the D-League rights he has barely gotten any practice time in since traded to Houston.

Reminds me of Steve Novak. Hope he stays but probably won't have a roster spot.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Thought he got a 2 year guaranteed contract. At least that's what I heard after the draft.

50% of first year is guaranteed which is equal to $271,735.50

No the first year is only half guarenteed he has an extremely slim chance of making the team

Oh damn. That's a bummer! I thought he can make it to the NBA this year with his shooting & offensive game. Do you think some sort of D-League slash a couple of NBA games is the most possible trajectory for him?

Return to Houston Rockets
