Hurricane - Be safe!

For anyone who is local like me, be safe today and throughout the duration. Nothing is more important than that now.

Agreed! Let's all be back here Saturday cheering on the Magic (or cough Celtics). :)

Walgreens has a Hurricane Special going on. Buy one case of Budweiser, get 2nd case half off. I loaded up. My house is very old in a very old neighborhood with massive trees. We lose power every major thunderstorm. I expect to be without power for a period of time.

My boss was nice enough to give us Friday off work as long as we come in on Saturday to make it up.

This storm could be a lot worse than people think.

I hope this thing turns right but it is not looking good.

Hopefully, everyone will be safe and our power will come back on quickly.

I left Orlando yesterday to stay in St. Petersburg for the weekend.

In Orlando, it feels like the zombie apocalypse is about to go down. In St. Petersburg, it's just another day, nothing to be concerned about as of now, my friend's school hasn't even cancelled classes. It's kind of surreal since it's merely a 2 hour drive away.

Best wishes to everyone here in Orlando. I'm in Winter Park myself. Hopefully everyone is okay and we rip through the Spurs on Wednesday.

I'm in Cocoa/Port St John. It's gonna suck. It's just a matter of exactly how much.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

It's really easy to get complacent about these things because of the media buildup and subsequent letdown of some of the lesser storms, but I will never forget what Andrew did to south Florida. Everyone take care and be safe.

Stay safe everyone. I live in Huntington Beach, CA so i am far away from the hurricane but i keep seeing how bad they expect it to be on the news.

The cape area is going to get the brunt of the storm as it moves by.

I live in orlando, and have folks that live in the port St. John area staying here to ride it out.

Just a wobble east would do wonders for all.

Stay safe, hope the damage is less than expected.

Guys - this could be catastrophic. I implore everyone in Orlando toward the coast to approach these coming days seriously (especially those closer to the coast). Many of us in Central Florida have rode out a large storm, but not like this one. We could be looking at Hurricane Andrew level damage. Be prepared for the storm itself and the days/weeks following during the expected power loss. Wishing for the best for everyone's family, friends, and homes.
