No negative vibes about the team. I love what we saw tonight with Bender/Chriss/Ulis. I just think that Knight/Len/Goodwin all need to be moved.

I think that was just you and I guess McD. Along with your "wouldn't trade Goodwin for Ibaka" thought.

I gave Goodwin a chance which is perfectly acceptable with our trash squad last season. Ibaka is overrated and maybe you should look towards the future versus hanging onto past comments.

On that topic Len has been a disappointment with his injuries and vanishing act on a trash team with no stars last season.

Yes, Len is a disappointment. I am hoping he turns it around. But don't act like other people are idiots when you have provided proof of your own in the past.

2nd game into pre-season and he's already a lost cause to the fanbase...wonderful... I love how no one is allowed to have a poor game on the Suns. Remind me who he was playing alongside again? Our starter, Dudley? Our long time bench fill-in at PF, Tucker? Or as a PF next to Chandler? Oh wait, none of them? He was playing alongside two rookies or an almost rookie in Alan Williams? Yep. Let's judge Len based off that performance; makes perfect sense.

This is not directed against you BW, or any one person, just in general it's nice to see e are picking up right where we left off last season: Len has a bad night, everyone jumps on the "Len Sucks" wagon; Len has a good night and it's 'ho-hum, nothing to see here until Len has another poor showing, la-la-la..."

1st game, if you double his 16 minutes, Len would've had a 10/8 w/ 4 Blks. How about Bledsoe and his awesomeness so far? The next pg we get a remark how Bledsoe is one of our best players so far...really? Two nights ago he goes 1 for 6, 3pts, 4ssts, and last night he gets another 4 Assts and 2 TOs and 1 of 3 from the FT line? OK, then...

This fanbase has become:

-- a "yay" for all things Bledsoe, Booker, and or rookies (until next season, then at least one will fall out of favor)

-- a "wait-n-see" for TJ, Williams, Jenkins, Barbosa, and Dudley

-- and a 'BOOOO...' for all things Len, Knight, Goodwin, and Tucker. These four can do no right in the eyes of over half the fanbase on this forum.

So, there you go, BW...I'm stepping into my role again as "Defender of the Down-Trodden Suns!"

Hah! Didn't even read this before the previous post, but I stand by it. I'm not unrealistic in evaluation of Len; If he doesn't improve then I'm all for a change, but 2nd Preseason game when surrounded by rookies?? OK, then....

I have high hopes for Len but so far he is far less proven than his counterparts from that draft. He did some good things last night like have energy and hustle. He was just a little erratic and needs to reign it in a little bit.

I think he can be a solid rebounder and passer.

I still don't understand why he shoots so bad for a 7 footer.

But if Dudley said he is going to surprise people I think he said it for a reason. I don't know if Len just gets a little nervous and loses a little bit of control in game situations or what, but hopefully it works itself out. I certainly haven't given up on him but I'm going to call it as I see it.

This was just a joke and I want to keep him. We have been developing him for 4 years and I don't want to start over. There are a bunch of crap centers that got overpaid so either we would have to do that or start over with a rookie.

While I wouldn't mind adding a rookie, I think Len should improve.

Chriss needs to play with a lob artist (Bled/Booker/Ulis)
So this means he might never see the court with Knight.

It was great to see Chriss boxing out and boxing out well. He just jumped for rebounds in college. Now he is putting himself between the hoop and his man, extending his feet, throwing his butt out, and squatting. It's perfect form. He get's it. He's obviously been listening and applying what he was taught.

He was heavy on fouls, but it was great to see him contesting shots. If he does so a bit more selectively, the fouls will go down.

On offense in summer league, he went up high but didn't go up strong and got knocked around. It's almost like someone told him "GO UP STRONG YOUNG MAN!" because now when he elevates, he finishes with power and doesn't let a little contact throw him off.

...and he's 19?

I can't believe we got him at 8.

So this means he might never see the court with Knight.

And yet his first big alley-oop was from Knight.

I don't concern about Chriss' fouls, he will learn. Remember Len's first season(s). If Len could fix his foul problem, Chriss can fix too.

Len hasn't fixed it. He is in foul trouble like every game.

I don't care if he fouls out, I'd like Chriss to play 24-30 minutes. I have faith he'll learn how to avoid them and the refs will adjust.
