The truth in this situation seems nebulous, at best.

Yes, just acknowledging that while I can probably understand the POV of the accuser it doesn't excuse them if they are lying which I think they are.

what do you mean? you posted the tweet saying Rose and his buddies were acting all celebratory after her cross-examination, essentially behaving like frat boy jackasses (which is not far from what they are being accused of). Rose and his friends have to be morons to be acting out in the courtroom like that. The only thing they need to do is sit on their damn hands and zip their stupid mouths and let the process be completed

Backslapping, sounds idiotic. I've already wondered if Rose's lawyers are incompetent and holding a victory party in the middle of the courtroom or at least not telling Rose and his pals to zip it and STFU are clearly signs of incompetence.

Rose showed up 40 minutes late. Any competent lawyer would want Rose on lockdown and being as demure as possible.

You're right. I think Rose is innocent, and I'm glad to see her case being picked apart. But cheering or smiling during this case can only hurt your appearance in the eyes of jurors. Of course we don't know the extent of the congratulatory cheers. Hopefully it was subtle. In the end shame on Rose and his lawyers for not being prepared to keep an appropriate, compassionate, & professional demeanor at all times. But again, maybe it was subtle.

There is nothing "usual" about what you are describing imho. But not an attack on you just that situation since it puts everyone at risk.

It is usual in cases like this, people don't partake in activities like this sober they need liquid courage. Why do you think she was drinking before hand

Ok I see what you are getting at; just disagree but not saying I am right. I have seen people have a few drinks to relax for courage but not I am going to get very drunk to do something. Unless blackmail was involved. But I might be being naive. Thanks for responding to my post appreciate the time you took to explain. I may have read into it the wrong way.

i highly doubt they were jumping around parading victory which is what you're coming off as thinking. backslapping could be a lght & simple pat on the back. That tweet has no mention of Rose saying anything. and i looked at his lawyers, and according to their bios they pretty highly regarded and pretty powerful. i agree, let the pros do their job, so why are you overreacting at how his lawyers are managing this? if they look to not be taking this seriously, it's probably for a very good reason. rose is paying them a lot of money, i'm sure.

"laughter, smiles & backslapping"

To any degree it sounds incredibly stupid if it is coming from anyone in Rose's party

here you go

page 6 and on

she sure as hell doesn't seem like the naive innocent victim she's playing right now, in her texts. pretty vulgar, actually.

here are the screenshots if you don't want to sift through the pdf, highlights everything from rose cutting communication, and doe's effort to reignite relationship with group sex, also her asking for drugs.

Thanks man I literally just wanted a source to read for myself. I didn't mean to imply anything lol.

Nah I get what you meant, I could have worded my piece better and I agree with you to an extent, I pretty sure she drunk on her own and I'm pretty sure they threw more drinks(not literally but figuratively ) at her when she get there. Depending on what she drunk vs what Rose and crew were drinking you could def see why she could have been as wasted as she said she was.

I think the entire case was bad judgment on all accounts

Rose and co for trying to get someone who was obviously not 100% down with their plans and on Doe for getting involved with them if she didn't want that.

This could have all been avoided.

i know, i just found it interesting that her testimony is largely based on her background & personality. being timid, naive, non-sexual, almost prudish. yet her texts to rose show her as a freak, deviant, and vulgar. she's crazy.
