FWIW, these are Yu Darvish's home/away splits this year:

Road: 2.28 ERA/2.62 FIP/2.91 xFIP
Home: 4.26 ERA/3.44 FIP/3.40 xFIP

Just win. That will be all.
Pessimists are in a win-win situation. Whatever happens, they are either always right or pleasantly surprised.

We may have broke them today. This is a team with a history of not getting it done, baseball being such a mental game really puts us at an advantage. We lost two close games at home last year with no animosity or revenge factor going in. These guys were probably begging for another shot at us and we wrecked their bowels. They have to be shook.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Still sad we missed out on Darvish (even with his injuries).

Sanchez, Darvish, Estrada, Happ and Stroman would of been beautiful to see.

With that said, Let's go 2-0! Go Jays Go.

Texas only scored 8 runs more than they gave up all year. They aren't as good as their win total suggests. With the orioles and mets eliminated now all remaining teams are at least +80 with the cubs and sox being +250 and 180 respectively. That just tells you that they pretty much had a prefect storm as far as wins with the production they had

Jesus Christ we have to win this game.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Playing Boston next round is going to age me another 10 years.

Game 3 almost seems like a sure win. It would be very sweet to sweep the Rangers, and completely blow them out each game.
