Kerley up to 102 yards receiving. Just the 2nd 100-yard receiving game of his career.

He had an 8 for 97 and 1 TD game against the Patriots in 2013 (a win) and a 7 for 120 game against the Patriots again in 2012 (a loss) for the two best statistical games of his career.

So what your saying Pozz is when Kerley goes over 100 yards his team loses... :)

It's going to be interesting to see some scouting grades on Brock tonight. In the end he's had good positioning once the ball got there on a number of passes but it hasn't looked pretty up to that point. Then he was the man in coverage on the scores.

That's 2 for Celek tonight. And a penalty.

Amazingly, the Cards' D only has 14 points tonight (in my league's scoring). Seems incredible.

I'll blame that one on Kelly. In this situation I think you're forced to roll Gabbert out there and live with the fewer options. Was thinking about it as soon as that punt was downed.

Well that was quite the show.

Very dull first half and the 2nd half basically went down hill with all those turnovers.

I can react or overreact here but something is amiss and I look at Kelly and see once again another hindrance his brand football brings.

Thats strength.

Maybe I'm still living back in the Harbaugh days and not letting go but it's been so long since I've seen our DL look so weak, physically. Forget the assignments, they are not strong enough. Maybe rushers they're "good enough" but holding the point of attack, no way. That defense desperately needs the numbers to win the battles. Purcell needs to be stronger, Dial is ok, Armstead isn't as strong holding his ground at all IMO than rushing towards the QB. Maybe its the draft selections of Baalke with the aid of Kelly's "health" renovation or whatever you call it. They look incredibly slim for a DL and to me, showed not enough strength or brute force that I was accustomed too.

Can we just fast forward now?

Armstead needs to hang it up and get the surgery on his shoulder.

I still wish we hadn't drafted the Oregon guys.
