Deng and Randle will be playing more than 24 MPG. Also no Lou. That will not happen.

PG: Russell [28]/ Clarkson [10]/ Calderon [10]
SG: Williams [18]/ Clarkson [24]/ Russell [6]
SF: Luol Deng [24]/ Ingram [24]/
PF: Julius Randle [20]/ Nance [24]/ Deng [4]
C: Timofey Mosgov [24]/ Randle [12]/ Black [12]

My best guess.

PG Russell 32 Calderon 16
SG Clarkson 32 Brown 8 Ingram 8
SF Deng 28 Ingram 20
PF Randle 24 Nance 24
C Mozgov 28 Black 20

0 - Lou, Nick (i still waiting for Lou trade...)

blowouts - Zubac steal Mozgov minutes, more Brown for Calderon, and less Deng.

I like this approach and agree Russell is a scorer first, spectacular playmaker second. Once his scoring starts commanding double teams, I'd increase his PG minutes but first then will his playmaking at PG become a real threat. Calderon runs the set offense better at this point, Russell should watch and learn for a bit.

PG: Calderon 15, DLo 15, Clarkson 12, Huertas 6
SG: Russell 18, Clarkson 15, Brown 10, Ingram 5
SF: Deng 20, Ingram 18, Nance 6, Brown 4
PF: Randle 24, Nance 20, Deng 4
C: Moz 22, Black 18, Randle 6
Since the 1976 merger LAL 11, CHI 6, BOS 6, SAS 5, GSW 4

PG: Luka / Vincent / Bronny
SG: Smart / Reaves / Knecht / Mañon
SF: LaRavia / Rui / Thiero
PF: Bron / Vando / Kleber
C: Ayton / Hayes / Koloko

I'd say 48 min per position is about what I'd expect.

PG. Russell 20 / huretas 10 / Calderon 10 / clarkson 8
SG. Clarkson 20/ Russell 10/ Lou 12 /Ingram 4 /young 2
SF Ingram 24/young 10/deng 14
PF. Randle 28/Nance 10/deng 10
C. Mozgov 20/black20/nance 8

Brown/zubac/yi inactive

Hopefully Lou/young are moved for a wing defender and brown absorbs the SG/SF mins

Ideally lakers also move one of Calderon/huretas. To free up a roster spot.

Calderon getting 28 minutes a game? You should check out some Knicks games from last season. The veteran needs to be more of a backup at this point in his career.

Whoever earns the minutes should get them. I hope Luke does it this way. If you are not progressing you sit.... even if you are "ahead" of the guy behind you. If he's outworking you then you take a back seat. This is the way to teach the importance of dedication IMHO.

So far Luke seems to be trying to find out what he has and is seeing what works together. I hope he's making decisions on minutes based on practice and not just the game performances. Alan Iverson aside, practice is important.
