They called him Lebron jr. Good player when healthy. I dont see him getting back to the same level he was at before his injury.

Doesn't help that the team went to tank mode immediately after the 2 PGs in Thomas and Dragic and the 2 Morris' were traded so that tanked his value.

Good post. To add to this doesn't help that the Suns FO keeps insisting on acquiring ball dominant PG's to compete with Bledsoe instead of letting him run the PG. Guys like IT, Knight etc. They are really good players but Bledsoe hasn't gotten the confidence to man the position at all IMO. Even when he wasn't injured. I agree that his knees are a major issue. He got the surgery which made CP3s quickness never the same again (cutting away meniscus).

This brings up another interesting point. Has any team over the past 5ish years been as insanely mismanaged from a player personnel as the Phoenix Suns?

No suns are by far the worst. I expect booker and bledsoe to be traded soon.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Past five years? Suns have actually been quite good the past 5 years drafting pretty well at their position and acquiring decent first round talent.

They lost Dragic and IT but Dragic was leaving either way and IT no one could really foresee that he was going to have an all star season in Boston, regardless IT is not the kind of player you can build around and go deep in the playoffs so he would not have fit the Suns plans either way.

A quality starting PG, but after he joined the suns, two of the three seasons he played ended prematurely, playing less than half of the games for those.

He is still young, but so far his career could be defined as "injury prone"

He was playing like an allstar last year before he got injured again.
As most have said, he's been injured.

It does look like he's out of the league every year, after yet again, another injury

Liked the guy, Would love to see a full year of Bledsoe and Dragic, but the GM had another plan. I think that he won't be able to stay healthy for a long period of time, unfortunately. Really hate the way this team was assembled, hate the knight fit, hoped to see a better second year of Len. But I think they nail it with the Bender pick

He's the Sun's second most valuable asset. The first (fortunately for Bledsoe) is their medical staff

Wish he could stay healthy. Always been a little under the radar ever since playing with Wall and Cousins.

What he really got me thinking about was how much depth some of those early Clippers teams had

This is the first time I've thought about his career.

Sadly Bledsoe was injured a lot as a Clipper too. He was barely there in 11-12 when Paul first joined, came back from injury and a lot of the season was him just getting back into playing form. He had done nice moments in that period though, especially vs SA. 12-13 was his breakout season, but VDN did not play him enough in my opinion. Not all Clippers fans agreed at the time but I wanted him and Paul to start together, especially in the post-season when Billups Judy centre back from injury and was starting and basically losing games for the team.

He only had one season on the Clippers, 12-13 where he was not just a high energy guy with potential, but also a productive player.

When healthy, hes better than what most people give him credit for, he is a really good combo guard.

People thought Ty lawson was a really good combo guard, Eric, if healthy, is a better prime lawson.

Hes a tier 2 point guard when healthy. You could group him with guys like Lowry, Lillard and Wall. The issue is he hasn't shown the consistency due to injuries. Hopefully he had a good rehab summer with those phoenix doctors and he's ready for a big year.

Injury-prone. Significant time missed in three out of six seasons.

Why would they trade their rookie contract player with all-star potential?

Because Phoenix is absolute garbage, bro. Haven't you heard Brian Windhorst? Worst management in history, totally mishandled a cat fight between two grown-ass men bitching about playing time. They have no clue what they're doing. No plan whatsoever. Definitely means Booker, Bender and Chriss are getting traded to the Lakers for Marcelo Huertas. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Seriously, the Suns are one of the most chronically overlooked teams in the NBA. People will remain ignorant of them until they make the playoffs again.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Chronically overlooked? Suns in the Nash and Amare era got plenty of attention. Suns aren't overlooked. Good teams get attention and bad teams don't. Suns have been a bad team over the past 5 years, hence no attention/overlooked.
