I think the hype is just that he is able to step on the court?
You're using "bricked" to just mean any missed shot. None of his misses were close to "bricks".

I was about to say the same thing. His first two misses were just barely off target--the first almost fell on the second bounce and the second was part way down before rimming out--and he only had one shot that wasn't really close (the baseline turn around in the 2nd quarter, which was long by about a foot). In addition to the effortless defense and rebounding, his soft and accurate touch from anywhere was the most encouraging thing about his first game. Not saying he's HOF if he's healthy but it's easy see the excitement (though as always some folks will take it way too far).

Otherwise, even if he seemed rusty before his first FGM, he shows range and that he could be dominant in the post. It's so frustrating Celtics threw double team on him so early :banghead: .

Moreover, he is already very very intimidating in the paint.

Uhhhhhh...were people calling him The Process before or did you start that?

Looks like it's catching on.

Has referred to himself as 'The Process' before.

His defense is going to real good. Not that excited by the post offense.

Meh, he has to prove he can hit that long jumper consistently before I give him the green light. I'm intrigued by his talent, just need him to stay healthy this year. Let's see what base line level of skill he possesses and see where you need to go from there. If he can stay healthy, looks like he could anchor your defense. He has the tools now needs guidance and experience two things he just can't get right away.

To me it's obvious it's going to take a while, probably his full rookie season, to work himself back into game shape and shake off the rust. Aside from that I'm pretty excited about what he's shown thus far taking that into consideration. He seemed to run the floor well getting back on D and looks like he's going to be a force in the paint on the defensive side. His shooting also looks promising, although I'd prefer he work from the inside out. I can wait to see him share the court with Simmons and Okafor and see what combos work. I think he'll be able to lineup next to either and for limited stretches with both depending on the opposition. Overall though there's a lot to be excited about as a Sixer fan over the next couple of years.

The question was not his talent, but if he can stay healthy. Nothing has changed other than he played 30 min in exhibitions. Come Feb, if he is playing, I am sure he will get his just dues.

Hasn't played in well over two years. Getting and keeping healthy is his number one priority, everything else follows after.

A dunk, a block and a three. Triple threat!

I still think he has more upside than KAT. Dude can destroy in the post and has a wet jumper out to 3, and is a legit intimidator on defense. His potential on both ends is absolutely droolworthy. Hope he can stay healthy.

This was from last game, but it shows the space that he can cover to contest as well as his speed when he takes off.

Looked good and seriously imposing today. He seems to have lost a bit of leaping ability after his injuries, though it's obviously too early to make a conclusion on that.

Apparently giving HIMSELF nickname, well before his first regular season game, is right up there in his priorities as well...

Has this been done successfully before? Seem to recall Dion Waiters wanting his college teammates to call him Kobe-Wade, and that didn't catch on.

In 12 minutes per game. Also, he's actually averaging 3.6 rebounds per game, not 3.3 (and 7.66 ppg would generally round up to 7.7)...

So, in 3 games

12.3 mpg
7.7 ppg (36.3 fg%, 75 ft%)
3.6 rpg
2 topg
0 apg
0 spg
1.3 bpg
2.3 fpg

He's starting and playing against most of the other team's actual starters after having not played competitively in two and half years and has gotten doubled teamed every game so far. People are looking for what he's capable of, not for consistent performance right now.

4+3+4=11
11/3=3.6 REB

I was off by .3. Or .4 if you're rounding up.

So you were, both wrong, then. I was looking TJ McConnell's 6 rebounds today. I edited.
