there's that issue with Chriss/Bender, letting Vonleh get that OREB. they have to secure that one.

despite a sloppy possession earlier I liked when Bender was aggressive off the dribble and looked to create a play for Chriss. Shame there was no communication/chemistry, Bender made the pass to the right place but no one there to convert from it :lol:

Learning reps for Chriss in the post. Good he tried to three-quarter the entry after a few makes by Vonleh (allowing too easy of post catches) but after he was bodied looks like he gave up? Not really the body language you want to see. But he's young.

Wow. 3rd year in the league and the Blazers go crazy when Vonleh hits an easy left hook and an open 15 footer over an 18 year old rookie.

Dont really care about the result.

Loved what I saw from the team. The defensive rotations are better than Ive seen under Hornacek and Longbardi. Hustle was there, and we ran alot of motion sets in our offence. No more standing around watching.

Booker is a bad man, man.

Looked like Chriss took an offensive foul to the face on that last possession. That's why he threw his arms up at the ref.

He was still 7-13, 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 fouls, and 0 turnovers.

I think Bender is really nervous and needs more time adjusting to his new surroundings and life. His situation is different to the other rookies. Earl probably recognizes this hence the reason why he's playing Bender on the perimeter and is limiting his usage to prevent a situation that could shatter his confidence and hinder his progress.

That was a great game for the preseason. Booker was ridiculous. Chriss was awesome. The only guy I thought that was really disappointing was Len. Again it looked like he made zero improvement. We all know now why Chandler was made the starter.

Agree with this, Len has looked very disappointing so far in what is going to be a decisive year for him
