Pulling Chriss in a time like that wouldnt be good for his development at all. Im glad he had the opportunity to play in the post like that, despite being scored on three times in a row.

Definitely. I meant putting Alan at the C and moving Chriss back to the PF spot. Jenkins or the other guy could have sat instead.

Just looked up the stats: last year Booker was 6th in the league in efficiency on post-ups at 1.11 PPP (min 30 possessions). With improved body and more experience this season he can seriously be one of the best post-up scorers in the league... as a teenage guard.

I will be honest. I do not think that package is close to good enough for a guy like Booker. So I definitely do not think it is good enough for Cousins. That being said, what it would take to get Cousins is probably something I would not want to give up. I would not trade Booker, Chriss, or Bender for him. Everyone else should be available.

Idk why there was such a huge crowd for a pre season game. I mean it was raining pretty hard out there. What normally would be a 25 minute drive took an hour and some change.
Also I had such a fun time that I bought tickets for the upcoming Blazers Suns game in exactly a month. This time I will be sitting directly behind the Suns in row B with my brother so we'll be super hyping the team. Tickets were $450 for the pair though!

It was a great game played like a regular season game.
Booker dominated C.J. and is looking to the eyes to All Star talent. He was really good against Lillard too.
Booker has an all around game, it is not crazy to compare him with the elite players already.

Warren played another good game, very good defensively and rebounding the ball. I like him at PF a lot this year because he is way stronger than last year.

Chriss was not my favourite prospect in June, but he is growing in me because he plays with a chip in his shoulder. He is gonna be really good if he improves on defense, he needs to be at least average on that end.

I can not wait for the next preseason game...this team is FUN!

How relieved do you think McD feels right now? He's hit gold. Every move he makes from now on won't come with the same scrutiny as it did before Booker. He can now function as a normal GM, make mistakes and not be put under the microscope for them.

It must be satisfying knowing you've gone from "looking for the star" to "having the star". Everything becomes so much clearer.

Enough young talent to have optimism. Such a different vibe than the past few yrs. still have to think some deal is down the road as we have that guard glut. I'd bet Ulis is Dleague-Ing till Injury opens up a spot.

I think we'll get by with a Bled/book/knight/barb rotation with TJ/Book and Dud covering Sf. Chris should just flat out start. Watson will have to juggle minutes, but it's a buy in or bye bye mentality he has set. I wouldn't be surprised if Goodwin is gone before the opener. It would be the right thing to do, even if he's just waived.
