I lost power at 11pm, was woken up at 4am when the eye was about 20 miles east of me (Sebastian/Vero Beach) to really loud howls and crashing noises, stepped out my front door and ran around to my back porch and sat and watched the trees bend over for a while. We had gusts over 100mph where I live, power just came back on at 2pm, the Publix near my house opened at 1pm today, was able to get a sub, absolutely love Publix what a great company to open for the community like that! Damage around me was pretty minimal, few trees down, branches and palm frawns everywhere mostly.

Nice. I remember sitting on the back porch during Charlie when the eye pass over us and the winds were hitting the front of the house. We were chilling watching things fly by until the next door neighbors pool enclosure passed by then went inside. Glad things got back to normal quick. Curfew ended in Orlando at 2pm today. Just branches n leaves all over the street. No damage here. Some Racoon did manage to break into my attic. It was scratching hysterically loud at the ceiling until I climbed up and scared the crap out of him.

There is a down tree in my neighborhood but other than that, all is good and the power never went off.

Things are not as good on the coast and hope everyone out there is safe, has no damage and gets their power back on quickly.

We dodged a bullet here.

Just a bunch of debris in the pool and on the driveway but everything else is good. I have to say though, the news reports had given a huge fright.

In other news, the Central Florida retail economy experienced a massive economic boost. Aquafina had record sales.

Sure glad I didn't get into any fights for water. I actually only bought a few bottles at Circle K on the way to work one morning.

I wondered about you each time the news guy said "and here along the treasure..." blah blah. I am glad you are ok!

I am glad for everyone, but jealous of those who have power

smh did you all hear the gouging stories? I heard on the radio that someone complained about a store charging $38 for a case of water. Que? They had to be joking.

If true, that is against the law and that store would face serious fines.

What I heard about gouging happened was people buying stuff then reselling water on Craigslist or Facebook.

Power is still out but the most damage was I had to pick up a heavy flower pot.

Still without power, but FPL says it should be back some time this evening. I'd ask how people ever survived without internet, but that's a ridiculous question. Don't be stupid, Beavis, there's always been internet.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.
