It's sad that you think those statements represent acceptable male behavior or, worse, normal male behavior. It's neither.

It's sad but I thought the funniest thing about the "We Men" comment Derrick Rose made last week was how unusual that belief likely was but in light of this and the defense that this is simply normal male talk, I guess that group is a lot larger than I ever could have imagined/feared.

I fully expect Trump's absurdly misogynistic remarks that are all over CNN today to be "just another one of those quotes" moments for him. He's totally unassailable. Those that like him for speaking his mind simply don't care about statements like this.

For Christ's sake, a man supported by tens of millions of voters publicly jokes about sexually assaulting random women. "I don't even wait. When you're a star, they let you."

This kind of quote would spark debate if it were said by a professional athlete - one side would say it's locker-room gutter talk, and the other side would say it's unacceptable speech. Except this is a Presidential Candidate!! Argh. I want to move to New Zealand.

Though it was wrong to say what he said (off the record) ... It was said by a famous businessman in 2005. The difference between Trump and previous presidential candidates is that Trump has had a camera on him since his 20s. You'll find stuff on him no matter what. You'd find plenty of dirt on previous presidents had they been famous before becoming President. Obama admitted to doing cocaine back in the day. Things happen in people's private lives they aren't proud of....some things can't remain private because of who you are.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had similar accusations about how he treated women when he was running for Governor of California....Again, he's had a camera on him since his 20s...stuff will surly get out especially if you never thought of becoming a Governor let alone a president.

It was wrong for Trump to say what he said. He's human. He's apologized....nothing more you can ask him to do as it was said 11 years ago as a famous businessman.

He said this while wearing a microphone and in public in front of numerous people; this isn't like a conversation between him and Bush was secretly recorded. You don't have "private moments" when you are wearing a microphone.

And I think the thing I ask him to do is not have thoughts yet think he's qualified to be the President of the United States.

I consider repeated, documented undesired sexual contact on random women more odious than Bill Clinton getting off on a willing intern. Both are an embarrassment. I am not asking for Mother Theresa. Like I just said, people are gross. Most of us. There are terrific people out there, who are intelligent, charismatic, and wouldn't ever consider touching a woman inappropriately. Or pandering to Wall Street privately while chastising it publicly. Or cheating on the First Lady.

If you came home to your mother in tears, saying a man on the bus had grabbed her genitals and kissed her, and smiled and walked off the bus, you'd want to find him and remove his teeth. It's a terribly foul thing to do. Again, if he'd just been posturing with the guys, perhaps we'd be shrugging it off. There is documented evidence that Trump has, multiple times, assaulted women like this. If you don't consider it assault, or a reprehensible act, well then we're going to have to end any discussion with equally disgusted opinions of the two sides of the matter.

And I unequivocally disagree with you that a President should be "just another person." I am not in the wrong for wanting to put a poster on my kid's wall of a President's face, saying "Hey kiddo, here's one of my heroes!" My disgust on this election is bipartisan, but Trump is shockingly unfit for a Presidency.

to be fair when he said these comments he wasn't a presidential candidate and didn't need to have a filter. whereas guys that are born into the political scene know to watch their tongue and not to get caught saying something like that if they want a career.

Bill Clinton is not relevant. And Bill is not on the ballot, even if some want to pretend he is. I dont actually care a lot abojt infidelity type issues, but with Trump, it ties into all kinds of other personality flaws. And Republicans certainly should care if they care about marriage like they say they do.

Is it just me or not that it seem like Trump lost his "magic"?

When he emerge as Republican candidate, it feel like he's invincible and ever lead the election poll at some point.

Both cheated on their wives while in office. I'm sure those weren't the only 2 presidents that did that. There is no such thing as a great president and perfect human being.... no matter what either party preaches. This is common sense. No one takes half the stuff they preach seriously. No, I have never talked about forcing myself on a woman. I also don't hang around people that talk about or want to force themselves onto women. I'm not holier than thou because of that...I'm just not a scumbag.

BTW, people defending someone for sexual assault or defending someone that wants to commit sexual assault isn't cool.
