6-4-7 from Dunn is solid

Rubio more points than Dunn, Dunn more assists than Rubio. Who knew.

Why are you so critical of Wiggins, but Rubio is great no matter what?

Was box score watching for most of the game. Nice to see everyone end up in the positive plus/minus, I think almost everyone was in the negative at the half. Wigs getting to the line that many times in 28 minutes is great. Good all around production from our point guards. Only allowing 38 points in the second half? Thibs probably got on them at halftime.

We just started the season with a win. I think that Miami is a good team and we won them.
So, we are in the right way.
I think that at the beginning it will be hard for the players to understand what Thibodeu wants from them.
He has some systems and they will not play in a free style like the previous years.
The difference is also that they will now play for the win, not for their stats and for the highlights.
From the stats it seems like Wiggins could not be stopped easily and they made him fouls.19 free throws in 28 minutes are too many.
Towns stats seem pretty good.20 pts 10 rbs.
Kris Dunn had 7 assists that is also good, but he scored only 6 pts. I expect much more from him.
That was his first nba game and I think he will get better.

I actually like Dunn not focusing too much on scoring. He has been doing it all that in college.

OT but if Wolves have already declared Pek out for the season and they are not buying him out, when can they request for an extra spot/medical exception?

It's the first preseason game - which nobody here saw - of a team with a mostly-new staff and three new players in the rotation. I'm not going to waste my time overanalyzing the box score from the game other than to say it wasn't a great shooting night from the first unit (the best FG% was from Rubio).

11 more FTMs and 2 more 3PMs made the difference on the scoreboard.

Rubio - Dunn
Lavine - Rush
Wiggins - Shabazz
Dieng - Bjelica
Towns - Aldrich

No suprises. Probably the 10 men rotacion to start the season.

First five preseason games with no TV at all.

Not even the other teams broadcast? Brutal.

Edit: wow its ridiculous. Nearly all of the Heats preseoan games are televised except their two games against the wolves. What's the deal? Its like all these teams agreed that they wont put wolves games on TV. I would have thought one of these other teams would broadcast one of our games.

That's almost unbelievable. The Wolves were the #4 team in EPSN's league pass rankings and it's hard to fathom how they could schedule the pre-season such that no one can actually see a Wolves game for 19 days. On a personal level, it will drive me nuts if there is no way to watch a game for almost 3 weeks while every other team is on tv multiple times.
