What spot did you pick at? Did you trade away your 1st rounder?

I gotta agree with the C-, and even that might be high.

who is your first rounder?

I will give a F for your team, no elite PG nor consistent source inside.

Your 3pts and points won't be that bad though.

It was an auction draft. I don't have elite PGs because i am punting assists so Lou Williams and Mccollum as PG position available players fit in nicely. I didn't go for stars instead i decided to go for balanced team, no flashy names, but i am happy with my team. I will be winning in percentages, both fg and ft, and turnovers almost every week, don't you think so? Add in 3pts and points in which i am really good at and i have 5 out of 9 cats where i, like, stand out. I expect to win in blocks and rebounds more often than not aswell, i have elite bigs. I will lose assists every week, and i consider my team bad in steals. But when you include all that, barring injuries, i expect my team to compete for the first couple of spots in the league. Maybe you guys don't agree with me, but will, when season start all my and your questions will be answered.

These were the prices for my players

Al Horford 33$
Brook Lopez 29$
Evan Fournier 26$ (pretty much end of the draft, not so many good players left, but still few guys had money and it was a bid war, i am satisfied with that pick)
Derrick Favors 21$
CJ Mccollum 21$
DeMar DeRozan 21$
Jonas Valanciunas 18$
Marvin Williams 11$
Wesley Matthews 8$
Robin Lopez 6$
Gary Harris 4$
Lou Williams 1$
Courtney Lee 1$

if you think your team is this good, you wouldn't have to ask us to rate your team, would you? We are just expressing our views on your team though.

Plus your intention to build a balance team is good, however you don't have many FA spots would be a risk. I believe you will be struggling to decide who to drop should there be any hot FA available.

Not sure if yours is a weekly line up league or not, it will be another headache to choose from your players daily or weekly because they are very close in production one way or another.

Should have used that $26 for better players early on, then use the remaining scrap money at the end for potential steals that no one else wants.

You're punting assists, but your stl/blks/reb aren't that great, FG% may be a little shaky, PTS and 3's won't be there every week. Basically you're looking at going 3-6 or worse every week.

You have a lot of question marks and concerns on your team:
1) Questionable roles
- Lou Will isn't a part of the Laker's future and may hit the bench mid-season
- Harris has a ton of competition at the SG/PG position
- Lee may be ok as he's a consistent role player among the Knick's mess, but he has zero upside
- Robin Lopez being on a new team that could go small with Portis/Gibson at C
- Casey is still pegging Valanciunas as a garbageman

2) Injury concerns
- can Matthews ever get back to top form after his injury? Aside from 3's, he was horrid last season.
- Brook Lopez is way injury prone

3) Players coming off career years
- Derozan is not a consistent player and had his best season last year
- Marvin Williams also had an unexpected great fantasy season last year

I'd rate this team F minus

Well, how's your team doing? According to Yahoo rankings in 9cat:

McCollum 17
Derozan 21
Al Horford 28
Lou Williams 55
Jonas Valanciunas 59
Brook Lopez 62
Fournier 108
Marvin Williams 111
Courtney Lee 141
Robin Lopez 151
Wesley Matthews 153
Derrick Favors 166
Gary Harris 223

More than half your team is below 100 (compared to my teams where only 1-3 players rank below 100). Using $26 on Fournier was a bust when you should have just used that money to slightly overpay for a guaranteed top 70 player.

Two of your best players will likely regress with Derozan going back closer to his norm and Lou Williams dying down as the season progresses. Favors has more upside, but is still injury prone and the coach may lower his minutes. Brook already has rest days. Horford has wasted value in his assists and looks like he's going to play a smaller role in Boston.

This roster would lose every single week in a competitive league. F-minus.

Well here i am, sitting at the 6th place out of 12 teams but i have done many many changes since the beginning. And you were right, i was losing games more often than not until like a month ago, but first few weeks were so hard because of so so many injuries. Horford Valanciunas Lopez Favors Harris, it was hard to win with only one injury spot and i couldn't drop any of these players. I'll list trades i did and how my team looks right now, i have 4 wins in a row and i was around 10th place a few weeks ago but lately i can't seem to lose. Last 4 weeks i won 6-3 5-4 6-3 7-2 and winning 6-2 in the current matchup

Brook Lopez for Dirk Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki and DeRozan for Carmelo Anthony
Carmelo Anthony Matthews and Fournier for Tobias Harris Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon
Zach Lavine and Al Horford for Karl Anthony Towns
Marvin Williams and Derrick Favors for Thaddeus Young and Tristan Thompson
Tristan Thompson Thaddeus Young and Lou Williams for Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving Jonas Valanciunas Greg Monroe(picked of ww) and Marcus Smart for Kawhi Leonard, Tyson Chandler and Marcus Morris
Tobias Harris and CJ Mcollum for Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry and Marcus Morris for Valanciunas Ilyasova and Thompson
Kawhi Leonard for Anthony Davis

PG: Darren Collison (picked of ww) Jennings(streaming him for this week)
SG SF: Klay Thompson Gary Harris Bojan Bogdanovic (picked of ww)
SF PF: Ersan Ilyasova Terrence Jones (picked of ww)
PF C: Anthony Davis Dirk Nowitzki (picked of ww)
C: Karl Anthony Towns, Jonas Valanciunas, Tyson Chandler, Robin Lopez
IL: Josh Richardson (picked of ww)

I think my team looks much better now :D

If you are 6 out of 12 you're getting the most out of what you have.

What do you mean by that?

I was around 10th place until a month ago when i started to beat people ahead of me, beat the 2nd and 5th team in that span

I meant that as a compliment, since as others have mentioned your team is not especially strong. You must be doing a good job managing week by week.
