On one hand, a mistrial is good because it presents a completely new jury but then again it does start the process all over again. It's like the judge is basically trying to force both sides into a settlement out of court.

and i guess i should've just posted bondy's tweet on it's own. informational purposes, from the comments on twitter, a lot of people (and doe's lawyers apparently) don't know there are multiple forms of color blindness and assume all you see is black/white.

You do realize that sometimes when you question the opposition you ask questions just to ask questions, right? Obviously there needs to be an end game to every question, but I HIGHLY doubt the bold is true. I know her lawyers have not been good at all (especially with all the ammo Rose has given them to use), but you shouldn't question how smart they are based on a question they asked.

Don't discount the fact it could've been intentional. Their goal is to win a settlement not a trial, so anything that forces this to drag out further is favorable for the plaintiff.

I think I read that there are 10 jurors in this case - not sure but that ALL have to vote same way to reach verdict.

In that regard I think Rose will play this thing out and take his chances. Doesn't sound like he is going to settle to me.

You really don't have a right to question how smart they are. You don't know if their actions have been intentional, you don't know what's going on behind the scenes, you don't know what their client is telling them, etc. Tell me, do you have any legal knowledge or are you just getting into this trial now because it's involving your boy wilted Rose?

How far removed in difference is this from the Tawana Brawley (Alton Maddox) situation is what I like to know. If they find out she's lying she's going to get dragged through the mud and vilified. And if her lawyers knew this was all a fabrication and goaded her into it like Alton Maddox supposed did, then it could put their careers in jeopardy as well.
