Vasquez and Scola were the 2 pickups I didn't love. I hope their fire and competitiveness and physicality pay off because they are lacking athleticism and speed on both ends. I know they have value and i understand what it is, I would have preferred something else.

At the same time this was plan B or C. Tyler Johnson as backup PG was plan A.

He's got 10/5/3 at halftime. What more is he supposed to do at 36? He's been outstanding. The defense or lack thereof is to expected. If he was a two way stud at this point of his career then he wouldn't be here. He'd be on a contender.

That 7-0 run was hard to watch. Not because of how poorly Bennett anchored the paint but mainly because this is likely his last chance to audition for the rotation. He definitely failed that test. He got off to such a nice start.

Whitehead plays a lot like Lin a quick guard who can penetrate and score.

Scola using his smart to defend whiteside... he did the best among nets on whiteside...
still frustrated with Bennet... basically has none other than a couple of threes

Playing limited minutes off the bench, he's doing fine.

He is athletic, super wide body, freak of nature wingspan, great mobility.
