I hope that Nets will give him some playing time. I think that he has the tools but no-one trusted him.

he likely wont get rotation minutes unless there are injuries. he is behind lopez and hamilton at center and behind booker and scola at PF.

i can see him getting some minutes when scola gets nights off. might see some dleague time as well

He'll probably not be a rotational player at the beginning. Booker would most likely start at PF, then Scola plays backup, maybe some Bogs, RHJ and Hamilton.

I see Bennett as a project. He does something well but he has many flaws. Here's hoping that Atkinson, who is known as a great developmental coach, can get the best out of him. He must get 3&D down first, and then go all out energy, that way he might amount to something. He's got a very unique body type for the NBA. They've gotta figure out a game that's unique. OTOH, Draymond could be a model.

Atkinson talked about using him as a five, but with Hamilton playing so well, it probably won't happen.

I thought Bennet had higher ups even through contact. Maybe it's the mass gain. Maybe I was just wrong.

It's one thing to joke around like that but then be responsible for a blowout loss for lack of rebounding, defense or even catching a simple pass?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind just releasing him lol.

I thought Bennett is taller than Booker. It turned out that they are of the same height.
Both of them are undersized PF.
Scola is old and never known for his defense.
Hamilton...
Rim protection relies heavily on Brook...
Hoping Bennett could improve his D and develop into a stretch 4.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

hands of stone. i can't believe he made it to this level while being unable to catch passers properly.
